Publication number: 20250275727Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transmitting data from a rotating portion of a medical imaging device to a stationary portion of the medical imaging device. The method includes transmitting the data via radio transmitters on the rotating portion and radio receivers on the stationary portion, wherein each of a plurality of separate transmission pairs is formed, each of the plurality of separate transmission pairs includes one of the radio transmitters and one of the radio receivers, and radio signals are transmitted from the radio transmitter to the radio receiver in the transmission pairs and a main radiation direction of the radio transmitter relating to the radio signals is tracked to the direction of the radio receiver.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2025Publication date: September 4, 2025Applicant: Siemens Healthineers AGInventors: Christoph HOHL, Michael HOSEMANN, Peter Michael DUEPPENBECKER

Patent number: 12263029Abstract: A gantry of a computed tomography system is rotated relative to a fixed base body of the computed tomography system. During the rotation of the gantry, digital data is transmitted between the gantry and the base body from a data source via a modulator, a transmission channel and a demodulator to a data sink. A transmission signal generated by the modulator by modulating a data stream supplied to the modulator from the data source is pre-distorted by a pre-distortion facility. The pre-distorted transmission signal is supplied to the transmission channel. Alternatively, or in addition, a transmitted signal transmitted via the transmission channel is post-distorted by a post-distortion facility and the post-distorted signal is supplied to the demodulator. The pre-distortion rule and/or the post-distortion rule are repeatedly reset by a setting facility during the rotation of the gantry.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2024Date of Patent: April 1, 2025Assignee: SIEMENS HEALTHINEERS AGInventors: Christoph Hohl, Peter Michael Dueppenbecker

Publication number: 20240178540Abstract: A dielectric waveguide to transmit an electromagnetic signal, comprises: a first conductor region and a second conductor region. The first and second conductor regions extend along a longitudinal axis of the dielectric waveguide, wherein the first conductor region is formed from a first thermoplastic material and the second conductor region is formed from a second thermoplastic material. The first thermoplastic material has a higher effective permittivity than the second thermoplastic material.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 27, 2023Publication date: May 30, 2024Applicant: Siemens Healthcare GmbHInventors: Peter Michael DUEPPENBECKER, Ralph TROMMER, Andreas FACKELMEIER, Christoph HOHL, Philipp QUEDNAU
