A splice couples the first conductor end to the second conductor end. An insulative boot has a first opening of the first shape, wherein the insulative boot encompasses the first conductor end. The insulative boot also has a second opening having the second shape, wherein the second opening encompasses the second conductor end. The insulative boot has a cavity between the first end and the second end, wherein the cavity is configured to encompass the splice.
