  • Patent number: 11628332
Abstract: The oral training device for muscles of the throat and/or face includes a panel which is receivable in the oral cavity formed between the lips and teeth. The panel has a first face adjacent to the lip area and an opposite second face being adjacent to the teeth and/or gums when in use. The device includes a handle which projects outwardly from the first face for applying an outward pulling force to the panel generally away from the oral cavity. The device also includes an elongate platform extending laterally across the first face onto which the upper and lower lips are placeable when in use.

  • Patent number: 9701548
Abstract: Systems and methods for treating water are provided. The systems and methods may utilize an electrochemical water treatment device comprising ion exchange membranes. In certain systems and methods, a concentrate stream and a dilution stream may be in fluid communication with ion exchange membranes. The ion exchange membranes may be configured to provide a ratio of a pH of the concentrate stream and a pH of the dilution stream to be less than about 1.0. In some instances, the LSI of the concentrate stream may be less than or about 1.0. In certain instances, the electrochemical water treatment device does not require a reverse polarity cycle.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 10, 2017
Date of Patent: July 11, 2017
    Assignee: HydroNovation, Inc.
Inventors: Ramandeep Mehmi, Anil Jha, Peter Naylor, Benjamin Rush

  • Publication number: 20160010222
Abstract: Systems and methods for treating water are provided. In certain examples, the water to be treated is seawater. The systems and methods may utilize an electrochemical water treatment device comprising ion exchange membranes. In at least one example, the electrochemical water treatment device may be configured to perform a desalination process on seawater. In some examples, the ion exchange membranes may be configured to provide a ratio of a pH of the concentrate stream and a pH of the dilution stream to be in a range of from about 0.9 to about 1.2.
