  • Patent number: 10318398
Abstract: A method and system for data pipeline monitoring receives an event data object and a current status data object from one or more subsystems of a pipeline. The system analyzes the event data object and the current status data object to determine a first and second validation value. The system, in response to determining that either the first or second validation value is not valid, sends a notification.

  • Patent number: 10305819
Abstract: A network switch includes a buffer to store network packets linked to queues to feed the packets to output ports of the switch associated with the queues. The buffer is shared dynamically among multiple traffic pools. The network switch determines per-pool dynamic thresholds each based on an amount of unused buffer space, and per-queue dynamic thresholds based on amounts of unused buffer space available in the pools with which the queues are associated. The network switch receives packets, and for each received packet, the network switch admits the packet to the pool with which the packet is associated and the queue for which the packet is destined if (i) occupancy of the associated pool is less than the corresponding per-pool dynamic threshold, and (ii) occupancy of the queue for which the packet is destined is less than the corresponding per-queue dynamic threshold, and otherwise drops the packet.

  • Patent number: 9949703
Abstract: An x-ray imaging apparatus revolves a digital radiation detector and a radiation source about an imaging area where a subject is positioned to be imaged. A housing encloses the source and the detector, and includes an open housing gap to allow movement of the subject into the imaging area by moving through the open gap. A housing extension may be deployed to close the housing gap and to enclose the detector as it revolves. Shielding assemblies prevent exterior access into the housing.

  • Publication number: 20180063030
Abstract: The subject technology relates to the management of a shared buffer memory in a network switch. Systems, methods, and machine readable media are provided for receiving a data packet at a first network queue from among a plurality of network queues, determining if a fill level of a queue in a shared buffer of the network switch exceeds a dynamic queue threshold, and in an event that the fill level of the shared buffer exceeds the dynamic queue threshold, determining if a fill level of the first network queue is less than a static queue minimum threshold.

  • Patent number: 9866401
Abstract: A network switch includes a buffer to store network packets and packet descriptors (PDs) used to link the packets into queues for output ports. The buffer and PDs are shared among the multiple traffic pools. The switch receives a multicast packet for queues in a given pool. The switch determines if there is unused buffer space available for packets in the given pool based on a pool dynamic threshold, if there is unused buffer space available for packets in each queue based on a queue dynamic threshold for the queue, if there are unused PDs available to the given pool based on a pool dynamic threshold for PDs, and if there are unused PDs available for each queue based on a queue dynamic threshold for PDs for the queue. The network switch admits the packet only into the queues for which all of the determining operations pass.

  • Publication number: 20170213253
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system server receives, from a plurality of advertiser devices, a plurality of advertisements, at least one corresponding personal information value, and a corresponding price. The system server calculates, for each of a plurality of personal information types, a corresponding price. The system server instructs the message device to display the plurality of personal information types and the corresponding prices. The system server sends, to a first message account, a plurality of messages, in which each message includes a respective advertisement of the subset of advertisements. Then the system server determines an amount to pay the user based on the prices corresponding to the subset of advertisements, and increases an account balance by the amount to pay the user.

  • Patent number: 9705808
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that enable flow aware buffer management. The method includes storing in a queue of a buffer a first type of traffic, storing in the queue of the buffer a second type of traffic, wherein the first type of traffic is less sensitive to latency than the second type of traffic, and when an amount of the first type of traffic meets or exceeds a first threshold, effecting flow control of the first type of traffic to slow a flow of the first type of traffic into the buffer. Flow control can be effected using packet marking or discarding packets. The methodology has particular utility in connection with managing elephant and mouse flows in a network switch.

  • Publication number: 20160337258
