  • Publication number: 20260149663
Abstract: A sending networking device includes one or more processors, and memory storing one or more software applications which, when executed by any combination of the one or more processors performs an operation. The operation includes determining whether an explicit congestion notification (ECN) is marked on an acknowledgement (ACK), determining whether a measured delay is greater than a target delay, and upon determining that the ECN is not marked and that the measured delay is greater than the target delay, additively increasing a transmission parameter.

The operation includes determining whether an explicit congestion notification (ECN) is marked on an acknowledgement (ACK), determining whether a measured delay is less than a target delay, and upon determining that the ECN is not marked and that the measured delay is less than the target delay, proportionally increasing a transmission parameter based on a difference between the target delay and the measured delay.

  • Publication number: 20260149671
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe throttling traffic using an achieved bandwidth delay product (BDP). As a sending device receives acknowledgments (ACKs) from a receiving device, the sending device determines whether the ACKs are marked to indicate the corresponding packet experienced congestion in the network. In addition, the sending device determines a delay associated with the packet being transmitted from the sending device to the receiving device. If this delay is much greater than a target delay threshold and the ACK indicates there was, then a transmission limit (e.g., a congestion control window size or a transmission control rate) is set based on an achieved BDP.

  • Publication number: 20260032092
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a NIC providing more bandwidth to deliver a packet that is part of a lower hierarchical level of a collective algorithm than a packet that is part of a higher hierarchical level of the collective algorithm, when both packets are ready for transmission. The NIC can allocate an appropriate amount of bandwidth to each packet that ensures the delivery of the packet associated with a respectively lower hierarchical level is prioritized over the packet associated with a respectively higher hierarchical level, which can resolve data dependencies and result in faster execution of the collective algorithm.

The movable objective stage includes an optical lens apparatus and a turn reflector optically coupled to the imaging optics, where at least one of the optical lens apparatus and the turn reflector are movable relative to one another for scanning the sample, and wherein the movement is achieved while maintaining a substantially fixed optical path length between the optical lens apparatus and a fixed plane in a fixed imaging optics stage.

  • Publication number: 20250373561
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe tracking the number of out of order packets that have been received at a receiver (RX) from a particular transmitter (TX). In one embodiment, the RX maintains a packet tracking bitmap that starts with the expected packet sequence number (EPSN) which is the next (sequential) PSN that should be received at the RX. The RX can use acknowledgement packets to transmit the bitmap to the TX so it knows which OOO packets have been received at the RX. However, the bitmap may be too large to fit into one ACK the entire bitmap, which means segments of the bitmap may be transmitted to the TX using multiple ACKs. As such, in the embodiments herein, the RX can also include a total count of the received OOO packets in each ACK.

  • Patent number: 11936561
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods and systems for reducing congestion in RoCEv2 networks. The method is configured to operate large-scale in data centers on traffic flowing from a sender node to a receiver node. The method described has three stages: a fast start stage, a transition stage, and a regulation stage. In the fast start stage, the sender sends data to the receiver at a fast initial rate. This may continue until the receiver observes a congestion event. When this happens, the sender reduces the data transfer rate as the method enters the transition stage. From a reduced rate, the method enters the regulation stage, where the rate is increased using a combination of a feedback control loop and an additive increase multiplicative decrease (AIMD) algorithm.

  • Patent number: 11885953
Abstract: A method is used to generate a report presenting parameter values corresponding to a structured illumination microscopy (SIM) optical system. The parameter values are based at least in part on the performed modulation calculation corresponding to an image set captured with the SIM optical system. A minimum FWHM slice is identified, based at least in part on an average FWHM value across the images in the first image set. Parameter estimation is performed on the identified minimum FWHM slice. Best in-focus parameters are identified based at least in part on the performed estimation. A phase estimate is performed for each image in the set. A modulation calculation is performed based at least in part on the identified best in-focus parameters. The report is based at least in part on the performed modulation calculation.
