The electrical contact terminal includes a mounting end, having a mounting face adapted for being electrically connected to a cable end of an electrical cable. The mounting end defines a cable extension direction of the electrical contact terminal. The electrical contact terminal includes a shorting clip portion and an anchor leg, including a first abutment face. The first abutment face is a cut face of the sheet metal a surface normal of the first abutment face faces in the cable extension direction.
