  • Patent number: 6422882
Abstract: A plug and socket connector arrangement with a shaped plug and socket mating slider (1). Two parallel arms (3) grips one of the complementary parts (12) of the arrangement in order to draw it to the second complementary part (14) of the connector by actuating a guide slot (2) and a sliding block arrangement (13). The plug and socket mating slider (1) is led to a guide groove (10) in the connector arrangement, along which are arranged stopping faces (7) against which push the front faces (6) of the arms (3), provided that one of the complementary parts (12) of the connector is not inserted between the plug and socket connector mating slider (1). The complementary part (12) of the connector spreads apart the arms (3) in the process of its insertion between the arms (3) in such a way that the front faces (6) of the arms (3) are able to be moved sideways past the stopping faces (7) into their final position.

  • Patent number: 6343948
Abstract: A plug connector (1) is specified which has a plug (2) and a mating connector (3), of which one (2) has latching arms (4) which, during the coupling operation, interact with corresponding latching tabs (5) on the other in order to lock the plug connection, the latching arms (4) having, on their inner side at their free ends, a hook (6) with a chamfered front side (7) and a likewise chamfered rear side (8), as viewed in the plug-in direction, the latching tabs (5) likewise have chamfered front (9) and rear sides (10), with essentially identical angles of inclination in such a way that when latched the respective rear sides (8; 10) of the latching arms (4) and latching tabs (5) lie completely on top of one another, and on their outer sides, between their end connected to the housing and the point at which they rest on the latching tab (5), the latching arms (4) can be pressed in resiliently until the rear side (8) of their respective latching hook pivots around the ridge (11) of the latching tab (5), runs essen

  • Patent number: 5628642
Abstract: An electrical connector with a first housing part receiving socket contacts, and a second housing part receiving knife contacts, where the two parts of the housing can be locked together and released by means of pins or the like, firmly attached to the housing parts. A single U-shaped clamp is mounted on one part of the housing and has legs with linking grooves in the region of board-shaped expansions. The grooves can be swung onto pins of the other housing part. The legs are provided with springy chamfers which, in the release position, are braced as stop elements again that housing part which carries the clamp. A locking hook mounted resiliently on a housing part reaches releaseably into a recess or hole in the cross piece of the clamp when the latter is in the locking position.
