Abstract: A compensating element having a first and a second assembly, wherein a locking mechanism is provided which can be switched over between a first and a second operating state. In the first operating state, the first assembly is connected fixedly to the second assembly and, in the second operating state, the first and second assemblies are connected to each other via a spring mechanism in such a manner that they are movable relative to each other. The locking mechanism includes an electric motor that can be used to switch over between the first and the second operating state. A locking ring is or is not braced against at least three balls depending on its rotational position with respect to a center axis. The locking ring is connected in terms of rotary drive to the electric motor via a torsion spring which is elastic with respect to the center axis.

  • Publication number: 20230004695
Abstract: In one embodiment, simulation systems and methods perform tessellation, on a GPU in a simulation system, of finite element method (FEM) elements in one or more simulated objects using physics solution data directly obtained by the GPU from the solver. In one embodiment, software compiled to run on the GPU can process the raw, native physics solution data to tessellate non-linear FEM elements without requiring preprocessing or ray tracing. In one embodiment, the tessellation can be performed on the fly based on a user's selected view of the simulated objects, and the selected view can be used to select a subset of the FEM elements and perform a tessellation on only the subset. In one embodiment, a level of tessellation can be dynamically determined based on the user's selected view.

  • Publication number: 20230006801
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for controlling multiplexing of a reference signal on an uplink shared channel (UL-SCH). In an implementation, a user equipment (UE) may time division multiplex (TDM) a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) with other signaling across symbol periods of one or more allocated resource blocks. The UE may map the DMRS to resource elements of one or more symbol periods within the allocated resource blocks. The UE may then map uplink control information (UCI) to one or more symbol periods different than the symbol periods of the DMRS mapping. In some cases, the DMRS, UCI, or both may be frequency interleaved with UL-SCH data for the allocated resource blocks. The UE may generate and transmit an uplink waveform for transmission within the allocated resources of the uplink shared channel.

  • Publication number: 20230002671
Abstract: This specification discloses methods of enhancing the stability and performance of Eu2+ doped narrow band red emitting phosphors. In one embodiment the resulting phosphor compositions are characterized by crystallizing in ordered structure variants of the UCr4C4 crystal structure type and having a composition of AE1?xLi3?2yAl1+y?zSizO4?4y?zN4y+z:Eux (AE=Ca, Sr, Ba, or a combination thereof, 0<x<0.04, 0?y<1, 0<z<0.05, y+z?1). It is believed that the formal substitution (Al,O)+ by (Si,N)+ reduces the concentration of unwanted Eu3+ and thus enhances properties of the phosphor such as stability and conversion efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20230003684
Abstract: A carbon nanotube (CNT) ion-selective field effect transistor (IS-FET) integrated device is used to detect nitrate ion in water. The device is operated as an IS-FET sensor, holding the measured potential between the drain electrode and an external reference electrode constant with a potentiometric circuit. Transduction occurs by changes in the effective CNT film gate potential with changes in the phase boundary potential of an ion-selective membrane (ISM) film. Moreover, the nitrate ISM film makes the device highly selective towards nitrate sensing. This printable IS-FET nitrate sensor enables real-time and high-resolution measurements and recording of nitrate ion in water at low cost.

  • Publication number: 20230006763
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station communicates with a UE via transmission reception points (TRPs). A UE receives, from a base station, control signaling identifying a set of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configurations. The UE receives, from the base station, control signaling activating a first DMRS configuration and a second DMRS configuration. The UE receives an indication for the UE to use a first transmission mode of a set of transmission modes to communicate with multiple TRPs of the base station. The UE selects at least one of the first DMRS configuration or the second DMRS configuration based on the indicated first transmission mode and a pre-defined logical association. The UE then receives DMRS signals from the TRPs of the base station, according to the selected at least one of the first DMRS configuration or the second DMRS configuration.
