Abstract: Methods and systems for assisting a vehicle to park based on real-time parking spot availability data. First image data sensed by a first sensor mounted on a first vehicle is received, wherein the first image data corresponds to a parking zone. A digital map of the parking zone is displayed based on the first image data. The digital map is stored in a remote server for future recall. Second image data corresponding to the parking zone sensed from another vehicle is received. The digital map is updated in real-time based on the second image data, including indicating one or more parking spots as being occupied and/or unoccupied. The updated digital map is sent to a device associated with a third vehicle and displayed on a device associated therewith, enabling a user of the device to see real-time information regarding availability of parking spots in the parking zone.

  • Publication number: 20240371364
Abstract: A system uses a machine learning model trained using multitask learning for processing audio signals of different types. The system may be used in a device such as a headset, smart glasses, or a smart watch, and may be used to make predictions based on different types of audio signals, for example, for classifying acoustic events based on audio signal or for keyword spotting to detect wake words. The use of a single machine learning model for analyzing different types of audio signals improves storage efficiency as well as energy efficiency of devices compared to systems that use a different machine learning model for processing each type of audio signal.

  • Publication number: 20240367199
Abstract: Grain sorting process and apparatus include a grain infeed chute for delivery of bulk cereal grain into the apparatus past an in-line measurement station which analyses selected parameters of the grain discharged onto a horizontal grain sorting conveyor and into storage silos in response to the measured parameters. The measurement station has a sensor unit which includes a near-infrared light source for emitting light onto the grain delivered through the grain infeed chute or the grain sorting conveyor. Light reflected from the grain is detected by the sensor to provide a spectrum of the grain. A spectrometer converts the spectrum into corresponding preselected grain parameter values, which are delivered to a controller, which controls operation of the sorting conveyor in response to the measured grain parameter values to deliver the cereal grain into a storage silo having a grain parameter corresponding to the measured grain parameter.

A flexible hybrid interconnect circuit comprises multiple conductive layers, stacked and spaced apart along the thickness of the circuit. Each conductive layer comprises one or more conductive elements, one of which is operable as a high frequency (HF) signal line. Other conductive elements, in the same and other conductive layers, form an electromagnetic shield around the HF signal line. Some conductive elements in the same circuit are used for electrical power transmission. All conductive elements are supported by one or more inner dielectric layers and enclosed by outer dielectric layers. The overall stack is thin and flexible and may be conformally attached to a non-planar surface. Each conductive layer may be formed by patterning the same metallic sheet.
