  • Patent number: 10695586
Abstract: Disclosed herein are radiation therapy systems and methods. These radiation therapy systems and methods are used for emission-guided radiation therapy, where gamma rays from markers or tracers that are localized to patient tumor regions are detected and used to direct radiation to the tumor. The radiation therapy systems described herein comprise a gantry comprising a rotatable ring coupled to a stationary frame via a rotating mechanism such that the rotatable ring rotates up to about 70 RPM, a radiation source (e.g., MV X-ray source) mounted on the rotatable ring, and one or more PET detectors mounted on the rotatable ring.

  • Patent number: 10695803
Abstract: Methods and apparatus configured and adapted to provide less carryover in an automated clinical analyzer are disclosed. The methods include immersing a pipette into a neutralizing liquid vessel and aspirating a neutralizing liquid (e.g., a hypochlorite solution) into an interior of a pipette. The aspirated portion of the neutralizing liquid used to cleanse the pipette interior is then dispensed back into the neutralizing liquid vessel, rather than disposing of the used neutralizing liquid to a waste station. Apparatus and systems configured to carry out the methods are provided, as are other aspects.

  • Patent number: 10699137
Abstract: A video classification platform receives a first message that includes a link to video data including video frames captured by one or more cameras associated with the vehicle, and including information concerning a vehicle and a driving event. The platform obtains the video data using the link, identifies the vehicle and the driving event based on the information, and determines objects in a video frame. The platform constructs a collision cone of the vehicle for the video frame and determines, based on the collision cone, a set of objects that have a potential to collide with the vehicle. The platform assigns a category to the driving event based on the set of objects, the collision cone of the vehicle, and the information, generates a second message that includes the category and the information, and sends the second message to a client device to display the second message.

  • Patent number: 10701633
Abstract: Systems and methods for device handshaking are described. Embodiments for client device and associated wearable device initiated handshaking are described. In certain embodiments, a device such as wearable camera eyeglasses having both high-speed wireless circuitry and low-power wireless circuitry communicates with a client device. The low-power wireless circuitry is used for signaling and to manage power on handshaking for the high-speed circuitry in order to reduce power consumption. An analysis of a high-speed connection status may be performed by a client device, and used to conserve power at the glasses with signaling from the client device to indicate when the high-speed circuitry of the glasses should be powered on.

  • Patent number: 10699063
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and computer program products for authoring content for digital books. In some implementations, a single graphical user interface (GUI) is presented that allows an author to design a layout for the digital book, including editing text and inserting various types of interactive elements in the text. The GUI functions as both a digital book layout design tool and a word processor to facilitate the building of a digital book. The relative page location of inserted widgets can be determined by a user-selectable anchor point placed within the text. An outline view of the digital book can be created and presented in the GUI based on a hierarchical structure determined by paragraph styles applied to the text. The GUI can provide a hybrid glossary and index page for allowing the author to create and manage a glossary and index for the digital book.

  • Patent number: 10698505
Abstract: In example implementations, a method executed by a processor is provided. The method receives a first pen input from first pen and a second pen input from a second pen. The first pen and the second pen interact with a single display. The first pen input and the second pen input are translated into a first output and a second output, respectively, that are executed by an application. The first output and the second output are sent to the application. The application executes the first output and the second output simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 10699167
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to generating a grid or a visual list to facilitate operator review of labels. The system receives a first set of labels generated by a first labeling source and a second set of labels generated by a second labeling source. The first set of labels and the second set of labels each classify one or more objects perceived in one or more scenes captured by a sensor of a vehicle, such that each of the one or more objects has a corresponding first label and a corresponding second label. The system determines discrepancies between the corresponding first label and the corresponding second label for each of the one or more objects, and generates a grid or a visual list using the determined discrepancies. The system provides the grid or the visual list for display to a human operator.
