    Abstract: A manually operated dump trailer provides a holding container positioned on the rear portion of a frame or trailer, which can then be attached to a vehicle to assist in hauling and dumping. The present system includes a locking mechanism configured to secure a container in the holding position. The locking mechanism can be mechanically disengaged to allow a container to move from the holding position to the dumping position, thereby dumping the load from a container.
