  • Patent number: 5983556
Abstract: An accessible fish lure holder releasably attachable to a boat's gunnel by suction cups. An elongated horizontal bar is supported on the suction cups that curves a cylindrical foam sleeve into which the fisherman drives the lure hooks. The foam holds the hooks securely but permits their easy removal when the fisherman wants to fish with. The suction cups also act as shock absorbers for the bar and foam sleeve to minimize inadvertent lure drop-off and the foam is rotatable on the bar to turn a fresh undamaged part of the foam upwardly after the upper part of the foam becomes torn with use.

  • Patent number: 4087046
Abstract: Test apparatus is disclosed for testing a gas-fired forced air heating system having a plurality of control elements. A monitoring device includes an indicator light adjacent to the thermostat for indicating a malfunction in the heating system, the monitoring device including condition-responsive switches for energizing the indicator in response to the absence of a stream of heated air when called for by the thermostat or in response to a malfunction in the thermostat. An analyzer comprises a plurality of indicator lights connectable through a selector switch to the power source and the heating system, the switch having an "OFF" condition for disconnecting the indicator lights, a "TEST" condition for checking the condition of the indicator lights and an "ON" condition for connecting the indicator lights respectively in parallel with corresponding heating system control elements to test the conditions thereof. Two embodiments of the analyzer are disclosed for use with different types of heating systems.

  • Patent number: 4007673
Abstract: An air register for mounting in a duct outlet of a forced air heating or ventilation system includes a frame carrying a plurality of pivotally movable horizontal and vertical louvers disposed in the stream of air from the duct. A generally cylindrical reel-type windmill is mounted on the frame for rotation by the stream of air about an axis disposed substantially perpendicular to the direction of the stream of air, and is coupled by a speed reducing gear train and a crank mechanism to a connecting rod interconnecting the vertical louvers for effecting continuous oscillatory movement thereof in response to rotation of the windmill by the stream of air for continuously varying the direction of the stream of air from the register. The entire apparatus is dimensioned and arranged to fit within the 23/4-inch depth of a standard room wall air duct outlet.
