  • Patent number: 6164943
Abstract: An internal geared wheel pump that does not have a crescent shaped piece. The pump has an internal geared wheel that meshes with a pinion. The pinion and geared wheel are mounted in a rotatable manner in a housing that has a suction connection and a pressure connection. The geared wheel has passages that produce each time a conductive connection between the base of the tooth and the envelope surface of the geared wheel. Conductive connections are produced between the bearing flanks of the teeth of the geared wheel or the teeth of the pinion and the radial boreholes of the geared wheel.

  • Patent number: 6095782
Abstract: A crescentless internal gear pump includes a housing with an intake connection and a pressure connection. An internally toothed internal gear has an outside surface and is disposed for rotation within the housing. Each tooth includes a head and a base, the internal gear having radial openings that form a conducting connection between a tooth base and the outside surface. A pinion, which is rotatably disposed within the housing and meshing with the internal gear, has teeth with each tooth including a head. The teeth of one of the internal gear and pinion, includes a profile groove with a base provided in the heads into which a sealing element is disposed and which slides on an opposing tooth head. The sealing element has a sealing surface and includes a channel that produces a conducting connection between the profile groove base and the sealing surface. The sealing element is slightly movable in the profile groove in the radial direction to form a controlled gap.

  • Patent number: 5540573
Abstract: The invention is directed to a sickleless internal gear pump with an internal ring gear and a pinion meshing with the ring gear. The ring gear has radial apertures for the medium being pumped, and sealing elements radially movably disposed in an appropriate profile groove, and inserted in respective tooth heads of the ring gear, or in the tooth heads of the pinion. The sealing elements are able to slide on the opposite tooth heads of the pinion, or of the ring gear. The head shape of the sealing element and the shape of the tooth space bottom of the ring gear, or of the pinion, are configured such that the sealing element establishes a seal between the pressure space and the suction space in the area of dead center.

  • Patent number: 5451150
Abstract: The invention relates to a sickleless internal gear pump with an internally toothed ring gear and a pinion meshing with the ring gear. The pinion and ring gear are rotatably mounted in a housing having a suction port and a pressure port. The ring gear includes radial ports for the medium to be pumped. The tooth heads of the ring gear or the tooth heads of the pinion have a profile groove into which a plurality of sealing elements are respectively inserted. The sealing elements are able to slide on the radially opposite tooth of the pinion or ring gear. The invention is characterized by a profile groove, viewed in axially perpendicular section, which has no ports. The individual sealing elements are provided with a channel establishing a fluid connection between the interior of the profile groove and the sealing face of the sealing element. The channel, viewed in the direction of rotation of the pinion, is enveloped by the material of the sealing element.

  • Patent number: 5354188
Abstract: The invention relates to a sickleless internal gear pump with an internal ring gear and a pinion meshing with the ring gear. The ring gear and pinion are rotatably mounted in a common housing part having an axial expanse corresponding to the width of the teeth of the ring gear and the pinion. The housing features a suction port and a pressure port. The ring gear features radial ports for the fluid medium to be pumped. Disposed in the pressure side region of the housing, opposite the rotating gearing parts of the ring gear and the pinion, is an axially movable axial disk exerting a force on the rotating gearing parts dependent on an axial pressure derived from the working pressure. The axially movable disk provides axial sealing by compensating for the gap between it and the fixed housing.

  • Patent number: 5135371
Abstract: A crescent-less internal gear pump. The internally geared wheel has a plurality of radial openings from its peripheral surface into the tooth gaps at the tooth base. The axial width of the pinion and/or the internally geared wheel is at least as great as the diameter of the rolling circle of the pinion. The filling of the inside of the pump through radial openings makes it possible to make the internally geared wheel as axially wide as the suction connection or as that part of the housing which receives the active gear parts participating in the formation of the delivery stream. It is possible to develop the axial width of the toothing considerably larger than the diameter of the rolling circle of the pinion. Complete filling of the tooth gaps with pressure fluid is assured without the occurrence of flow velocities at which the formation of noise or other disadvantages is to be expected. The pump can also be provided with two internally geared wheels arranged alongside each other.

  • Patent number: 5081907
Abstract: A hydrostatic displacement engine having pistons which slide on the inside of a stroke ring. The eccentricity of the stroke ring, relative to the cylinder block, is variable. The interior of the housing is divided in two areas which are separated from each other preferably by a seal, namely in the area located radially outside the stroke ring and the area located radially within the stroke ring. The inner and outer areas serve as a leakage oil collection space and connects through a leakage oil line with a pressureless liquid container. Emptying in the area situated radially outside the stroke ring is a connection line which is supplied by a pressure supply. A pressure valve maintains the pressure in the outer area at a value of several bars.
