  • Patent number: 11658885
Abstract: The disclosed technology teaches automating evaluation of QoE for data communication services in a wireless network—accessing performance indicators, mappings for the performance indicators to SKQIs in a SKQI parameters table, and mappings for SKQIs to KQIs in an SKQI-to-KQI mapping table. The disclosed method includes configuring first and second functions that, respectively, roll up performance indicators into SKQIs based on parameters stored in the SKQI parameters table to calculate SKQI scores and weights, and roll up SKQIs into KQIs and QoE based on parameters stored in SKQI-to-KQI and SKQI-to-QoE mapping tables, to calculate KQI and QoE scores. Also disclosed is generating first SQL statements that invoke the first function to calculate the SKQIs and second SQL statements that invoke the second function to calculate KQIs and QoE, storing generated first and second SQL statements in non-volatile storage and calculating KQIs and QoE using the automatically generated SQL statements.

  • Publication number: 20210312464
Abstract: A method of speech recognition ordering may include generating a voice database having a biometric characteristic for each of the different users, and a voice profile for each of the different users. The method may include providing an ordering user interface, receiving speech input including an order from a given user, and determining a given biometric characteristic for the given user. The method may have identifying the given user from the different users by comparing the given biometric characteristic with the biometric characteristic for each of the different users, and performing speech recognition on the speech input using an order database including potential order permutations, the speech recognition being based upon a given voice profile of the given user.

  • Publication number: 20200099572
Abstract: The disclosed technology teaches alerting a network operator to deteriorated wireless network conditions with granularity and reduced false alerts, including receiving tracked performance indicators (KPIs) for multiple components of voice, data and messaging and accessing a mapping for combining the performance indicators into quality sub-indicators for individual users and into key quality indicators (KQI) for the individual users. This includes smoothing the current KQI measures of performance over time to reduce the impact of brief transitory events, accessing a weekly profile of KQIs, and comparing KQIs for a current time window to past KQIs for a corresponding time window for the individual users operating mobile devices in part of the cellular network that is a focus of interest. Based on the comparing, the disclosed technology includes generating alerts that report out-of-range current KQIs within the focus of interest that are persistently out-of-range for longer than a configurable time.

  • Publication number: 20120197846
Abstract: A continuously running application may be dynamically recovered. A database replica server may be directed to temporarily spool data changes in a database master server that stores application data associated with an application running on a web front-end master server. A specified rewind point may be obtained from among a plurality of existing rewind points of the application data stored in the database replica server. The database replica server may be directed to rewind the application data to a specified rewind point. An indication of data to be recovered in the rewound application data may be obtained. The web front-end master server may be directed to restore the data corresponding to the indication. The database replica server may be directed to resume replication of data changes in the database master server.

  • Publication number: 20090133693
Abstract: A water-sealing diving-use snorkel without generating a vacuum suction force includes a diving-use snorkel unit connected with an air intake-ventilation nozzle unit comprising an air intake-ventilation pipe, a nozzle plate, at least one housing, a water-sealing membrane, and a float, being orderly sheathed. The water-sealing membrane and the float are sheathed respectively on strip units of the nozzle plate, allowing the water-sealing membrane and the float to slide freely on rails of the strip units. When a water level sinks, a small amount of air can enter into the snorkel unit from a notch on a leak-proof washer below the nozzle plate; therefore, no vacuum suction force will be formed to suck the water-sealing membrane, such that a sense of fear that a user feels unable to breathe can be eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20050229318
Abstract: The present invention refers to an improvement in a bed mattress containing signal means for the identification of the correct mattress position for any day of the year, making it viable for the implementation of a rotation program designed for increasing the useful life of this product. The improved mattress contains signal means for indicating which one of the four possible mattress positions is the correct one at the date of inspection. For example, in a monthly rotation program, if the current month is not indicated on the mattress in a directly readable form, the mattress should have its position altered, until the correct month is directly readable on the mattress. In this manner, the four positions of the mattress are uniformly used, expanding significantly the useful life of the mattress, in comparison with another that is not rotated, that is rotated sporadically or that is rotated in a random fashion.

  • Patent number: 5442725
Abstract: A device and method of organizing optical fiber for attachment to a component. Two flanges are mounted on a base plate. The flanges are shaped concave toward each other. The base plate is hinged to the housing of the component. A fiber is slipped through a notch into the space between the flanges and looped under the flanges. The fiber is then attached to the component. The base plate is rotated to be substantially parallel to the face of the component and clasped in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 5274730
Abstract: A technique for interconnecting photonic circuits employing a fixed field of optical couplers situated between adjacent layers of photonic circuits. The coupler field facilitates the direct connection of optical fibers linked to components in one of the adjacent layers of photonic circuits with optical fibers linked to components in another adjacent layer. Each optical coupler within the field is a standard, commercially available optical fiber coupler which mates the optical fibers via a single low-loss connection. In addition, as each of these connectors allows easy connection/disconnection of optical fibers, reconfiguring previous interlayer connections is simplified. In a particular embodiment, the coupler field includes a plurality of individual couplers arranged in a regular geometric pattern upon a panel oriented at a 45.degree. angle with respect to the circuit packs of the adjacent layers. This provides easy access to the couplers, and allows for uncomplicated indexing of each connection.
