  • Publication number: 20080057331
Abstract: A heavy simulated sports action object such as a ball is formed from a hollow shell having cut stone applied at spaced locations on its outer surface with the cut stone having an exposed pattern such as a logo on its outer surface to create a first partial layer. • Publication number: 20060021175
Abstract: A foldable ice scraper includes a handle and an ice scraper blade connected to the handle by a joint mechanism which mounts the heel portion of the blade to the handle. The joint mechanism includes indexing structure for selective engagement with complementary indexing structure on the heel portion and the handle so that engagement of the indexing structures permits the blade to be disposed in a folded position against the handle or in an ice scraping operative position where the blade extends generally outwardly from the handle. A release mechanism permits the indexing structures to be disengaged so that the handle could be moved to the different positions.

  • Patent number: 5571360
Abstract: A system for forming burr-less edged name plates includes a shearing station. A die block is provided in the shearing station. An adhesive backing member is disposed above the die block and includes an adhesive coating on a release paper. A name plate assembly is disposed above the backing member for adhesive contact with the backing member. The name plate includes a plurality of name plates connected by a connector web. Each name plate is secured to the web along only one side edge with the remaining side edges being exposed. As a result the remaining side edges could be formed without the formation of burrs. A shear bar is disposed above the name plate and includes a shearing blade for cutting through the connection along the side edge of each name plate and the web and through the backing member to form a plurality of name plate units each of which comprises the name plate and the portion of the backing member in contact with the name plate.
