  • Publication number: 20240120669
Abstract: An electronic device for mounting on a support rail, has a housing, an electronic unit arranged in the housing, and an elastic contact element that serves in the electrically-conductive connection between the electronic unit and the support rail. The contact element has two contact legs, a connecting area connecting the contact legs to one another, and a contacting section connected to the connecting area for making contact with the electronic unit, and wherein when the electronic device is in the mounted state, the contact legs of the contact element make contact in a clamping manner with a leg of the support rail in-between. The contact element arranged ensures, with small size, good electrical and mechanical contacting of the support rail. The sides of the two contact legs facing one another form a short contact area. The first contact area on is sharp-edged, and the second contact area forms a swivel.

  • Publication number: 20190047201
Abstract: The present invention comprises a method. The method comprises selectively feeding color masterbatch thermoplastic polymer pellets or granules to an extruder from a first gravimetric feeder operatively connected to a computing device and adapted to receive signals from the computing device to control the amount of the color masterbatch thermoplastic polymer pellets or granules dispensed therefrom and feeding non-colored thermoplastic polymer pellets or granules to the extruder from a second gravimetric feeder operatively connected to the computing device and adapted to receive signals from the computing device to control the amount of non-colored polymer pellets or granules dispensed therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20180177254
Abstract: The present invention comprises a method. The method comprises extruding a mixture comprising a plurality of pellets or granules of a first thermoplastic polymer having a first color or shade and a plurality of pellets or granules of a second thermoplastic polymer having a second color or shade. The mixture also comprises an amount of a compatibilizer such that the first thermoplastic polymer and the second thermoplastic polymer do not delaminate when extruded and wherein the second thermoplastic polymer is incompatible with the first thermoplastic polymer and wherein the first color or shade is different from the second color or shade. The present invention also comprises strands, monofilaments, fibers, filaments, yarns, sheets or films made by the foregoing method. The present invention further comprises an artificial turf having a face pile of strands, monofilaments, fibers, filaments or yarns made by the foregoing method.

  • Publication number: 20050100733
Abstract: Synthetic plastic fibers are enhanced by inclusions therein of micro-polyester particles (4), preferably sized or otherwise optimized to enhance surface (10) characteristics (abrasion resistance, hydrophilicity, coating receptiveness, increase dullness), reduce UV degradation. The synthetic plastic matrix is preferably polyester but can be any synthetic plastic. The invention is preferentially implemented in multi-component fibers (e.g. core (6)-sheath (8) bi-component fibers (3)) with the inclusions entirely or primarily in one or some, but not all such components. The PTFE inclusions, sizing, concentration, morphology can be adjusted to optimize their enhancing effects, reduce costs and enhance throughput of fiber production. Co-inclusions can be made with the PTFE including anti-microbial and/or coloring agents and with synergistic effects.

  • Patent number: 6164950
Abstract: Rectangular or round spinning nozzle packs for extruding thermoplastic filaments each have both melt channels and orifices for the higher melting polymer compound and also melt channels with orifices through which is passed a polymer compound that melts at a temperature 5 to 50.degree. C. lower. Variously designed insulation channels thermally separate these melt channels, which are operated at different temperatures.
