  • Publication number: 20220379743
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for coordinating and executing bidirectional energy transfer events between electrified vehicles and one or more participating electrified recreational vehicles. Energy may be transferred from an electrified vehicle to one or more electrified recreational vehicles, from the one or more electrified recreational vehicles to the electrified vehicle, or both during bidirectional energy transfer events. The proposed systems and methods may further be configured to provide various charging configurations between the electrified vehicle and the one or more electrified recreational vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20220379960
Abstract: Systems and methods for coordinating steering controls between towing vehicles and towed vehicles provide more cohesive parking experiences during towing events, including bidirectional charging towing events. The towed vehicle may be controlled to provide assistive parking steering maneuvers to assist the towing vehicle when parking during the towing event. The assistive parking steering maneuver may include maneuvering a drive wheel of the towed vehicle either toward or away from a detected curb or detected traffic, for example.

  • Publication number: 20220379767
Abstract: Systems and methods may coordinate and execute bidirectional energy transfer events between electrified vehicles and one or more participating electrified recreational vehicles. The proposed systems and methods may be configured to provide charging alert notifications from the electrified vehicle to the one or more electrified recreational vehicles during group off-roading events. The charging alert notifications indicate the need for the one or more electrified recreational vehicles to return to the electrified vehicle for charging during the off-roading event in order to avoid a no start/stranded condition.

  • Publication number: 20220371531
Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle active chassis power system includes determining, via a processor, a minimum output voltage/current threshold for an aggregated power supply associated with an active chassis operation, and generating an aggregate State of Function (SoF) indicative of a maximum voltage/current budget for an output of the vehicle active chassis power system. The aggregate SoF is based on a primary power source voltage/current output and a power storage voltage/current output. The method further includes causing to control an active chassis power system actuator based on a minimum voltage/current value associated with the aggregate SoF. Causing to control the active chassis power system actuator can include publishing the aggregate SoF to a braking actuator, a steering actuator, or to a domain controller that actively distributes an aggregated power supply capability SoF to a braking actuator and a steering actuator based on one or more present vehicle states.

  • Publication number: 20220157449
Abstract: Example embodiments described in this disclosure are generally directed to an automated triage nurse system in a vehicle. In an example scenario, the system issues a set of questions to evaluate a severity of a medical emergency event associated with an occupant of the vehicle. The questions may be issued through an audio system in the vehicle and the medical emergency event may be caused by a vehicular accident or may be a medical trauma suffered by the occupant. The system provides medical advice to the occupant, if the occupant provides a response that indicates to the system that it is unnecessary to summon a first responder. The medical advice can be a first-aid instruction. On the other hand, the system may contact a first responder located in a medical facility if the occupant of the vehicle provides no response, or provides a response that indicates a serious medical problem.
