Patent number: 7661495Abstract: A drive unit for motor vehicles with hybrid drive and a drive train in a longitudinal arrangement, between the internal combustion engine and the first axle, comprising a housing piece, a through driveshaft, an electric motor, surrounding the through driveshaft with a first clutch before the electric motor and a second clutch thereafter, whereby a second axle is also to be driven with minimal space requirement. A first electric motor is thus physically combined with the first clutch, surrounding a second electric motor and the through driveshaft and is connected to the second axle by means of a third clutch, an offset gear and a shaft.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2005Date of Patent: February 16, 2010Assignee: Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik AG & Co. KGInventors: Franz Zöhrer, Konstantin Erjawetz, Peter Pichler

Publication number: 20080256634Abstract: In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for a data stream scanner. The present invention may provide for a data portion received in association with a data stream, and the data portion may be analyzed to make an assessment. An identity pool may then be selected from a universe of identities based on the assessment, and identities from the identity pool may be selected in a scanning process to analyze the data stream. Further, an unmatched identity may remove the identity from the pool upon finding that the unmatched identity does not match data in the data stream.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2008Publication date: October 16, 2008Inventor: Peter Pichler

Patent number: 4087858Abstract: A filling station with several pumps, dispensing various types of fuel, includes an electronic control unit with a counter receiving trains of backward-counting pulses from the outputs of various pulse generators driven by flowmeters installed in the several pump outlets. The counter also receives forward-counting pulses indicating the amount of money deposited by the station attendant in a locked cash box; upon depletion of the available credit balance, as indicated by a zero pulse count, the control unit stops the dispensation of fuel from all pumps. Another counter, receiving only the forward-counting pulses, has a presettable upper limit for preventing deposition of more than a predetermined maximum amount in the cash box; when that limit is reached, the box must be taken to a depositary accessible only to representatives of the station owner or the fuel supplier while an alternate cash box is substituted therefor at the filling station.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 1976Date of Patent: May 2, 1978Assignee: Aral Austria Gesellschaft m.b.H.Inventors: Peter Pichler, Dietrich Ranner

Patent number: 4004381Abstract: An arrangement for a protective cover for the edge of a sheet metal at roof-to-wall abutments, comprising a cover strip which is placed above the upper edge of the sheet metal edge panel. A clamping strap is employed which runs transversely with respect to the cover strip and thus with respect to the edge of the sheet metal panel and is attached to the wall by means of screws or nails. The clamping strap includes a flexible leg which stands off the wall and projects upwards. The upper edge portion of the cover strip is bent off twice against the wall, whereby the bent-off edge hooks behind the stand-off leg of clamping straps.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 1973Date of Patent: January 25, 1977Inventors: Peter Pichler, Albert Jorg
