    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for allocating at least one parameter to at least one transmission channel at an interface disposed between a first node and a second node of a transmission system, wherein the interface is connected to at least one link disposed between the first node and the second node, comprising: a) evaluating the control plane data for determining that a user plane connection including at least one transmission channel for user plane data is to be activated, and determining the associated at least one parameter; b) determining, which at least one transmission channel for user plane data changes its state from inactive to active within a presettable period of time; and c) allocating the at least one parameter to the at least one transmission channel for user plane data.
