    Abstract: The application relates to a means for closing a bag, in particular a bag made of bio plastics. The means for closing a bag comprises at least one wire covered at least partially with a coating of a bio plastics. The coating is a closed coating offering the wire corrosion protection when exposed at normal ambient conditions during storage or use of the means and the coating being degradable, biodegradable or compostable once the means is exposed to an environment suitable for decomposition.
