The legs protrude downward for supporting the housing on a support in a non-tipping manner with a small uniform spacing between the base and the support. The at least one support arm protrudes outwards at the opening edge and can be placed on an edge of a well plate in which a plurality of wells. The support arm is an edge hanging element, and for this purpose, has a support section that runs radially relative to the housing and a hanging section that runs from the support section downwards in the direction of the base of the housing.

Abstract: A pipette has a preferably thermoplastic pipette shaft, for slipping on a likewise preferably thermoplastic pipette tip, has a slip-on section which opens at least slightly conically, and an attachment section which is formed on the lower end of the pipette shaft and onto which the slip-on section of the pipette tip is slipped. A sealing section which is made of an elastically-flexible plastic material which seals well with low withdrawal forces is provided on the attachment section. Furthermore, preferably, a fixing section is formed on the plastic material of the attachment section of the pipette shaft at a location that is axially offset relative to the sealing section. The sealing section of elastic-flexible plastic material is molded directly, retentively, on the preferably thermoplastic material of the pipette shaft.

Abstract: A packing box for laboratory articles with a body (1) which has been produced from plastic material with a peripheral, preferably slightly conically shaped jacket (2) and a carrier plate (5) which is provided with insertion openings (3) for the laboratory articles, especially pipette tips, with a bottom (6) made of plastic material and with a cover (7) which is also made of plastic material. The carrier plate (5) is produced in one piece with the jacket (2) and the body (1) together with the carrier plate (5) have the shape of an inverted trough.
