  • Publication number: 20200191280
Abstract: Aa valve arrangement for a cooling system of a vehicle includes a housing having at least two cooling-liquid ports, and a valve element, which can be adjusted between an open position in which it opens up a connection between the cooling-liquid ports and a closed position in which it separates the connection between the cooling-liquid ports. A drive is provided for adjusting the valve element between the open position and the closed position, wherein the drive includes an electric motor, which motor drives an actuation element which actuates the valve element, wherein the actuation element moves along a circular path section in the course of an adjustment of the valve element between the open position and the closed position.

  • Patent number: 6175338
Abstract: A dipole feed arrangement for a parabolic reflector antenna, comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) having on one side a conductive pattern in the form of two spaced dipoles each bifurcated by a respective slot, and whose centre parts are connected by a conductor element, one half of the conductor element being provided with two spaced notches. A coaxial feeder cable's outer conductor is connected to a connection zone in the conductor element, and its inner conductor passes through a hole and connected to a transmission line element on the opposite side of the PCB. Plated through holes connect the transmission line element to the dipoles. The arrangement allows substantially identical current amplitudes to flow into each half of each dipole, thereby providing a desirable optimum symmetry of the feed arrangement's radiation pattern.

  • Patent number: 6130649
Abstract: A polarizer for exciting the parabolic reflector of a directional antenna includes a profile section (7) which is formed as a waveguide and is adapted to simultaneously transmit two linearly polarized orthogonal electromagnetic waves. Two rectangular waveguides which separately guide the two electromagnetic waves are connected to the profile section (7). The end face of one of the rectangular waveguides is connected to the side wall of the profile section (7) in a radial direction, whereas the other rectangular waveguide is connected to an end face of the profile section (7). Both rectangular waveguides have an electromagnetic connection to the profile section (7) via openings, wherein a short-circuiting element (10) is disposed in the profile section (7) between the openings.

  • Patent number: 5708447
Abstract: An antenna includes a parabolic reflector and a supply line attached thereto. The supply line includes two rectangular electromagnetic (waveguides) that are essentially parallel to each other. A tube-shaped exciter is common to the (waveguides) and is located at open ends of the waveguides. A back side of the reflector has a mechanically stable receptacle, which is used to attach the reflector to a support. The receptacle includes a metal ring with an L-shaped cross section in an opening that corresponds to a central opening in the reflector. The ring has a cylindrical area and, at a right angle to the cylindrical area, a base area that extends toward the inside of the ring. In the installed position, the cylindrical area of the ring penetrates and is centered in the opening of the reflector. A holding plate, which firmly surrounds and supports both waveguides, fits precisely into the ring and is attached to the ring in removable form when mounted.
