  • Publication number: 20230338599
Abstract: A sterilization cycle for sterilizing material and items containing diffusion restricted spaces and lumens is provided that introduces vaporous sterilant, such as hydrogen peroxide, into the chamber in a controlled manner such that diffusion within the restricted spaces and lumens is enhanced as a precursor to additional sterilization steps thereby enhancing overall sterilization.

  • Patent number: 6754085
Abstract: A mounting apparatus having first and second blocks securable within a housing. The first block has first and second grooves for respectively receiving a first edge of a first circuit board and a first edge of a second circuit board such that the first and second circuit boards are aligned with each other and are spaced apart. The second block has a groove for receiving a second edge of the first circuit board that is perpendicular to the first edge of the first circuit board and a surface to which the second circuit board is attached adjacent a second edge of the second circuit board that is perpendicular to the first edge of the second circuit board.

Assignee: ADC Broadband Access Systems, Inc.
    Inventor: Peter R. Kalkbrenner
  • Patent number: 6632008
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide light-pipes having improved alignment and light collection capability. In one embodiment, a light-pipe is provided that has a first end for collecting light from a light source, a second end for outputting the light collected at the first end, and a shaft interconnecting the first and second end for transferring the light from the first end to the second end. The first end has a concavity for receiving a lens of the light source therein.

  • Patent number: 5291828
Abstract: An insensitive pellet ignitor utilizes a slapper type detonator to initiate an insensitive explosive material. The insensitive explosive material is retained in a high strength housing which confines and dissipates the explosion. The insensitive explosive material is retained in a collar placed in a chamber having an orifice leading to propellant. The orifice does not allow the shockwave from the insensitive explosive to prematurely expel the propellant so that the propellant is ignited from the hot gases and particles resulting from the explosion which are ported through the orifice to the propellant.
