Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for bone volume assessment based on at least one of MRI patient scan data and at least one set of synthetic CT data, comprising at least one processor module and at least one storage module for storing patient data, wherein the processor module is configured to process and/or analyse MRI patient scan data, at least one set of synthetic CT data and/or the reduced patient data, preferably in combination with each other, such that at least one bone volume parameter, in particular bone mineral density, fat percentage, calcium concentration, total density trabecular space and/or the like, of a first patient is determined. Moreover, the invention refers to a corresponding method and a computer-readable medium.
