  • Publication number: 20160053272
Abstract: Methods of modifying one or more target nucleic acid sequences using the Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR) and CRISPR associated (Cas) proteins (CRISPR/Cas) system are disclosed. Methods of introducing one or more exogenous nucleic acid sequences into one or more circular nucleic acid sequences using the CRISPR/Cas system are also disclosed.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 16, 2015
    Publication date: February 25, 2016
Inventors: Omri Wurtzel, Samuel LoCascio, Peter Reddien
  • Publication number: 20160053304
Abstract: Methods of depleting one or more target nucleic acid sequences using the Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR) and CRISPR associated (Cas) proteins (CRISPR/Cas) system are disclosed. Kits and methods of producing a library comprising select mRNA sequences using the CRISPR/Cas system are also disclosed.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 8802365
Abstract: The invention provides compositions and methods of use for identifying modulators of NOTUM, e.g., NOTUM inhibitors. In some aspects, identified compounds are useful for modulating Wnt signaling at sites of tissue damage. The invention further provides methods of promoting regeneration by inhibiting NOTUM.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 22, 2012
Date of Patent: August 12, 2014
Assignee: Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research
    Inventors: Peter Reddien, Christian Petersen

  • Publication number: 20070020652
Abstract: The invention relates to improved methods of attenuating expression of a target gene in a eukaryotic cell with dsRNA, identifying nucleic acid sequences responsible for conferring a particular phenotype to a cell, alleviating pest infestation in plants, and altering gene expression in an undifferentiated stem cell or the differentiated progeny thereof. Transcription of the RNA, which will form the dsRNA, is terminated by one or more terminators sequences, thereby increasing the efficiency of inhibition.
