Patent number: 10808141Abstract: The present invention encompasses a novel soil-repellent reactive resin seal for markings or coating of areas of ground or trafficways, for example roads, based on cold plastic. Compared to established prior art systems, this sealing leads to reduced adhesion of soil, especially in hot and/or dry, dusty environments. Thus, the marking retains better visibility than conventional markings, even in dry, hot regions. Otherwise, the marking sealed in accordance with the invention has comparable mechanical properties to the prior art.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2015Date of Patent: October 20, 2020Assignee: Roehm GmbHInventors: Alexander Klein, Ralf Debes, Oliver Schmidt, Peter Reinhard

Publication number: 20120171492Abstract: The invention relates to the production of core-shell particles for encapsulating reactive components for single-component resin systems. In particular, the invention relates to the encapsulation of radical initiators such as peroxides. The invention further relates to a method for the 100% encapsulation of reactive components, whereby novel, storage-stable resin systems can be provided. At the same time, the core-shell particles are designed such that they can be opened nearly completely, easily and quickly during application, but have sufficient storage and shear stability before application.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 7, 2010Publication date: July 5, 2012Applicant: EVONIK ROEHM GmbHInventors: Mandy Muehlbach, Patrick Stenner, Silke Suhr, Peter Neugebauer, Heike Heeb, Guenter Schmitt, Peter Reinhard

Patent number: 6329562Abstract: A process for separating off cycloalkenes having at least two double bonds from a reaction mixture in hydrocarbon solution formed during the metathesis of cycloalkamonoenes or cyclomonoene/cyclopolyene mixtures comprising the steps of treating the reaction mixture with zeolites in the liquid phase, absorbing the olefins having at least two double bonds present in the solution by the zeolite, separating off the laden zeolite, and obtaining the cycloalkadienes and cyclopolyenes by desorption.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2000Date of Patent: December 11, 2001Assignee: Haarmann & Reimer GmbHInventors: Ingo Wöhrle, Peter-Reinhard Schick

Patent number: 5142008Abstract: In the suspension polymerization of (meth)acrylic acid esters or of vinyl aromatics or of mixtures of such monomers, the formation of undesired, very fine "emulsion polymer", which reduces the yield, is reduced if the polymerization is carried out in the presence of polyvalent phosphonic acids or their alkali metal salts or ammonium salts or of alkali metal salts or ammonium salts of condensed inorganic phosphates, e.g. of Graham's salt.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 1991Date of Patent: August 25, 1992Assignee: Degussa AGInventors: Hans-Joachim Holle, Peter Reinhard

Patent number: 5125830Abstract: An apparatus for correcting misalignments in human teeth comprises a rod-like member which has a grip holder for fixing a ligature wire to a brace and to brackets applied to teeth. The grip holder is connected to a rod-like tubular torsion bar arranged in the interior of a hand tube and an end tube. On the outer circumference of the torsion bar are formed threads, which cooperate via a ball cage with the threads formed on the hand tube. A rotary movement is imparted to the torsion bar and thereby the grip holder by an axial movement of the hand tube or the end tube. As a result of this rotary movement, the ends of a ligature wire inserted in the grip holder are twisted for fixing a brace guided in the bracket, and consequently the brace is fixed to the bracket for transferring the force of the brace to the teeth. Therefore fixing is sped up and simplified as compared with other fixing methods.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 1990Date of Patent: June 30, 1992Inventors: Peter Reinhard, Ulrich Hubers

Patent number: 5030087Abstract: A device for supplying individual ligature wires inserted as a pack of wires in a casing of the device has an operating arm. A pack of ligature wires is inserted into a recess provided in the casing. Pressure is exerted onto the pack of wires by a push rod. In each case the lowermost ligature wire in the pack is pressed into a recess formed in the bottom of the casing. Then the wire from this readiness position is advanced into a transfer position by a driving pawl mounted in a slide. The movement is carried out by pressing the operating arm, the free end of which projects into a slot of the slide and, on pressing the operating arm, advances the slide and therefore the ligature wire into the transfer position. In the transfer position, the end portions of the ligature wire can be grasped by a tool, e.g. a twister and removed from the casing to be placed into the area of use.Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 1990Date of Patent: July 9, 1991Inventors: Peter Reinhard, Ulrich Hubers

Patent number: 4854080Abstract: An apparatus for sharpening cutters of periodontal instruments comprises a base supported on a parallelogram formed by two carriers in which is mounted in rotary manner a grinding wheel. At the lower ends the carriers are mounted in a support plate, which is mounted by a pivot pin on a support arm of a swivel head. Below the carriers is displaceably mounted a link, which is coupled to the lower pivot pin of one of the carriers. During the rotary movement of the swivel head, the link is moved along a template, through which it is possible to adjust the angular position of the grinding wheel relative to the cutter in accordance with an eccentric relief or a bevel cut to be made. The grinding wheel is driven by a drive motor via an envelope drive, which is located in a casing, which receives all the elements of the rotating and fixed parts, with the exception of the base and the upper ends of the carriers.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 1988Date of Patent: August 8, 1989Assignees: Mikrona, AG, Ludwig RomhildInventors: Ludwig Romhild, Erwin Hartmann, Peter Reinhard

Patent number: 4820153Abstract: A process for treating periodontitis existing in the mouth of a patient having teeth with roots extending downwardly in the gums by using a scaler including a scraper with a cutting edge and a handle for the scraper. A dentist uses the scraper to remove tartar, concretions and necrotic root element from a tooth by guiding the cutting edge along the tooth root under the gums from the lowest point of the gum pocket and while exerting pressure on the root suddenly moving the cutting edge with a powerful jerk in scraping manner toward the chewing face of the tooth. The scaler is adapted for manual movement by the dentist and also has a mechanism which when actuated initiates and performs the jerk action without manual movement of the scraper by the dentist.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 1986Date of Patent: April 11, 1989Assignees: Ludwig Romhild, Peter ReinhardInventors: Ludwig Romhild, Erwin Hartmann, Peter Reinhard

Patent number: 4403960Abstract: A holding member assembly comprises a shell-like female part with an annular cavity and a male part with a torus adapted to mate with the cavity. The torus contains a slot with an annular spring which, on insertion of the male into the female, engage in a holding slot of the female part. The female part is embedded into a tooth crown, whereas the male part is connected to a dental prosthesis part. Through constructing the female part with the cavity, it is possible to produce holding members with reduced overall height compared with the known holding members, but which still have an excellent stability.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 1982Date of Patent: September 13, 1983Inventors: Robert Hauri, Peter Reinhard
