    Abstract: A process and system to utilize heat from the exhaust gas of a gas turbine. The system includes a heat pump cycle, the cycle running from the hot side of a compressor to a condenser heat-pump-cycle, an expansion valve, a heat-pump-cycle-vaporizer-heat-exchanger to the cold side of the compressor. Hot, wet exhaust gas, fed by a hot, wet exhaust gas inlet, transfers heat to the heat-pump-cycle-vaporizer-heat-exchanger and is cooled down to cold, dry exhaust gas. Heat out of the system is utilized to turn the cold, dry exhaust gas to warm, dry exhaust gas. A heat supply return flow passing the condenser heat-pump-cycle, where the transferred heat is utilized as heat source for a heat supply feed flow.

    Abstract: A system for efficient conversion and provision of electrical energy, wherein supplied electrical current is converted into hydrogen in an electrolyzer and optionally temporarily stored in hydrogen storage. The hydrogen is converted into electrical current in a conversion stage in which offgas containing water in vapor form is emitted. The offgas is cooled using a heat pump to obtain condensate which is supplied to the electrolyzer as feed water. As a result, a supplied electrical current is decoupled from generated electrical current, wherein utilization of the process heat provided by the heat pump makes it possible to achieve high efficiency coupled with a low demand for fresh water for the electrolyzer.

    Abstract: A power plant with a water-steam-cycle includes a steam generator with a plurality of heating surfaces that carry a fluid and transfer heat to the fluid. The plurality of heating surfaces has an economizer for preheating the fluid and a fluidly connected evaporator for producing steam. A steam turbine receives the steam produced in the steam generator to generate power output. A condenser condenses steam from the steam turbine. The condenser has a hotwell as collection container for condensed steam or water. A polishing plant is arranged fluidly between the hotwell of the condenser and the economizer. A drain line interconnects an outlet of the economizer and the hotwell of the condenser. A fluid line interconnects the outlet of the economizer and the evaporator. The fluid line includes a syphon to hold back water in the economizer.
