Patent number: 5979649Abstract: An elongated packing container is intended to receive tools and other objects. In order to avoid damage to these objects upon dropping and falling of the container on the ground, a cushioning arrangement is arranged at the point of the container. The cushioning arrangement lends some play in terms of elastic movement to the side walls opening out in the point of the container, when the object in the container with its mass acceleration causes force to impact on the side walls of the container. This arrangement avoids the object's penetrating the point of the container and becoming damaged.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 1998Date of Patent: November 9, 1999Assignee: Rose Plastic GmbHInventor: Peter Rosler

Patent number: 5967318Abstract: Apparatus for packaging and organizing elongated articles such as tools wherein a body (3) is receivable in a sheathing (2). Body (3) has a bottom mounting surface (4) with a longitudinal extension, a support element (5) parallel thereto, and a mounting surface that is vertical to these members and that holds them spaced apart from one another. The support element has boreholes (6) aligned in a line. A longitudinal wall (8) between mounting surface (4) and support element (5) is provided with projections (9) that extend into the free space between mounting surface (4) and support element (5). Projections (9) narrow the originally designed diameters of the boreholes in the free space, so that as a result of these projections, a clamping effect is exerted on articles (1) mounted standing upright on mounting surface (4).Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 1998Date of Patent: October 19, 1999Inventor: Peter Rosler

Patent number: 4509656Abstract: A packing container assembly particularly for storing elongated objects is formed with inner and outer elongated interfitting hollow members each having a polygonal cross-sectional configuration with a closed end and an open end longitudinally slidable relative to each other. Each of the hollow members is formed with interlocking members which cooperate to fix the hollow members in engagement with each other. The interlocking members on the outer hollow member are inwardly projecting webs located adjacent the open end of the outer hollow member at corners thereof and the interlocking members of the inner hollow member are outwardly projecting elevations spaced apart in the longitudinal direction thereof with elevations being provided at at least two diagonally opposite corners of the inner hollow member lying in a common plane extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction thereof. The hollow members are formed with rounded corners having specific radii which differ from each other.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 1983Date of Patent: April 9, 1985Assignee: Rose-Plastic GmbHInventor: Peter Rosler

Patent number: 4210253Abstract: A packing container is formed of a pair of cylindrically shaped axially elongated hollow bodies disposed in coaxial alignment with one fitting telescopically into the other. A row of teeth is formed on and projects outwardly from the inner hollow body and the row extends in parallel with and for the full axial extent of the inner hollow body. The teeth extend in the circumferential direction of the inner hollow body. However, the teeth extend for only a fractional angular portion of the circumferential dimension of the inner hollow body. Threads are formed on the inner surface of the outer hollow body adjacent its open end and the teeth interengage with the threads. Both the teeth and threads extend at the same oblique angle to the longitudinal axis of the hollow bodies. The teeth have a rectangular cross-sectional shape while the threads are formed as buttress threads.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 1979Date of Patent: July 1, 1980Inventor: Peter Rosler

Patent number: 4046279Abstract: A packing container for elongated objects of variable length is formed of two tubular shaped bodies each closed at one end and open at the other. One of the bodies fits into the other in a telescoping manner. In the telescoped position the inner body has a longitudinal groove extending from its open end with equidistantly spaced locking grooves opening off the longitudinally extending groove. The outer body has one or several inwardly projecting detents formed adjacent its open end. If plural detents are used, they are longitudinally aligned and arranged at the same spacing as the locking grooves. The detents are shaped to pass through the longitudinally extending groove and to fit in an interlocking manner with the locking grooves. By relative rotation of the telescoped bodies about their longitudinal axes, the detents can be moved into the locking grooves and the two bodies locked together at a selected overall length in accordance with the length of the packaged object.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 1976Date of Patent: September 6, 1977Assignee: Hilti AktiengesellschaftInventor: Peter Rosler
