  • Patent number: 10541895
Abstract: A data processing apparatus is deployed at a cloud network, and includes a plurality of data nodes, a receiver circuit, and an aggregation circuit. The receiver circuit is coupled to the plurality of data nodes and is configured to receive downtime records from a plurality of industrial machines, and to selectively route the downtime records to selected ones of the plurality of data nodes based upon a predetermined criteria. Each of the plurality of data nodes comprises a control circuit and a memory. Each control circuit is configured to, in parallel with the other control circuits, to further populate the downtime records with other data related to the operation of the machines, determine one or more time windows for each of the records, and divide the records according to the time windows.

  • Patent number: 10401838
Abstract: A production line is organized into one or more of zones. One or more production orders to produce products in a continuous sequence at a production line is accepted. A plurality of production factors associated with the production orders is analyzed to produce an operating schedule for the production line. The operating schedule, when followed at each zone of the production line, is effective to produce the plurality of products in the continuous sequence. Industrial machines in each of the zones are operated according to the schedule.

  • Publication number: 20190236508
Abstract: The example embodiments are directed to a system and method for detecting operating patterns within a manufacturing process. In one example, the method may include receiving machine data from the manufacturing process and contextual information associated with the manufacturing process including a plurality of dynamic contextual attributes that change over time, determining KPIs for different permutations of the manufacturing process, where each KPI permutation is associated with a plurality of values for the plurality of dynamic contextual attributes, respectively, automatically detecting an operating pattern within the manufacturing process based on the determined KPIs and automatically detecting one or more values of the plurality of dynamic contextual attributes linked to the detected operating pattern, and outputting information about the detected operating pattern and the values of the plurality of dynamic contextual attributes linked to the detected operating pattern for display.

  • Publication number: 20160171037
Abstract: Provided is a method and system for detecting changes in models applied to analyze time series data. A method includes receiving at a processor a data stream transmitted from a sensor configured to measure an operating parameter of a component being monitored, wherein the data stream comprises at least time series data. The method also includes analyzing the data stream to identify a sequence of interest in the time series data, searching metadata stored separately for an appropriate model to apply to the time series data, and selecting the appropriate model. Information about the selected appropriate model is carried forward with the time series data.

  • Publication number: 20090099945
Abstract: A method for integrating assets of an automated system includes defining base services of the automated system. A directory of assets within the automated system is provided. A common name space associated with each asset in the directory is also provided. Each asset in the directory is linked using the common name space. The assets are integrated by extending at least one asset to another asset to perform a base service of the automated system.

  • Publication number: 20090094682
Abstract: A method for controlling access to a system is provided. The method includes creating a role tree including a plurality of privileges, creating a resource tree including a plurality of resources, assigning at least one role for at least one resource to a user, and evaluating the plurality of privileges of the user for a requested service access based on at least one of a user role assignment, a user resource assignment, and a location of a device used by the user to request the service access.
