  • Patent number: 10067059
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for simultaneous fluorescence contrasting effect in transmitted light and reflected light, having a reflected light optical path for focusing of the excitation light via a lens onto a sample, having a fluorescence signal, which extends from the sample and is directed onto the same lens, having a dichroite, an emission filter, and a detection unit for the purpose of separating the excitation light from the fluorescence signal and for detection, having a luminescent layer behind the sample and a diaphragm for partial coverage of the excitation optical path between the sample and the luminescent layer, whereby a part of the excitation optical path, which impinges onto the luminescent layer, emits light, which irradiates the sample past the diaphragm by forming an oblique transmitted light illumination.

  • Patent number: 9563049
Abstract: A procedure and a device for terminating the immersion at a microscope having one or more immersion lenses, or both immersion lenses and dry lenses, comprising a protective sheath around the immersion film area for preventing the escape of immersion media and an immersion media supply unit and an immersion media discharge unit connected with the protective sheath. The immersion media is removed in a controlled manner in particular in an automated microscope. Subsequently, the microscopic testing can be continued without the user having to intervene in the device or the process.

  • Publication number: 20150277093
Abstract: A method for terminating microscopic applications with an immersion objective, in particular for switching between the immersion objective and a dry objective or a further immersion objective, wherein after the microscopic application, the immersion objective or the microscope stage bearing a specimen and/or a specimen container is moved from the observation position. The immersion medium remaining on the specimen and/or on the specimen container is deposited at a location outside the observation position of the terminated microscopic application or a further microscopic application.

  • Patent number: 9069163
Abstract: A head-up display system suitable for an aircraft. The head-up display including an image source arranged outside the desired field of view of an observer and where the intensity of symbols of the image source are modulated differ depending on their perceived position relative to the horizon line. A light source is arranged for providing light to an image source which is arranged to modulate the light of the light source thereby creating an image for the head up display. A brightness control unit have inputs for vehicle pitch- and roll angle, and a calculator configured to calculate, based on the pitch and roll angles, the current position in the image of a virtual horizon line, corresponding to the real horizon line as perceived by the observer, and for controlling the brightness of symbols above the virtual horizon line to be different from the brightness of symbols below the line.

  • Patent number: 8730581
Abstract: A head-up display system for a vehicle facilitating the use of night vision goggles for a person in the vehicle during night vision conditions. The system includes a light source for providing light to an image source. The image source is arranged to project an image on a semi-transparent combiner mirror. The combiner mirror is arranged to superimpose the projected image onto a view of the environment in front of the vehicle by transmitting light rays from the environment and at the same time reflecting the projected image towards the eyes of an observer. The system includes a first and a second light source for alternatively providing light to the image source. The first light source is arranged to emit light of a first color to be used during daylight conditions, and the second light source is arranged to emit light of a second color to be used during night vision conditions, wherein the second color is mainly yellow or mainly orange.
