Abstract: A household dishwasher includes a dishwasher interior, a spraying facility rotatably mounted in the dishwasher interior for spraying wash liquor and/or fresh water upon an item to be washed received in the dishwasher interior, a placement region for placement of a cleaning agent, and a blocking facility configured to block a rotational movement of the spraying facility in such a manner that the spraying facility during blocking of the spraying facility selectively sprays the placement region with wash liquor and/or fresh water in order to dissolve the cleaning agent.
