  • Patent number: 10087818
Abstract: An engine block comprising: a combustion chamber, an inlet for introducing a fuel/air mixture into the combustion chamber and an outlet for expelling combusted fuel/air mixture from the combustion chamber; and a piston that reciprocates within the combustion chamber to compress the fuel/air mixture therein, the piston having a closer supported thereon, wherein reciprocating movement of the piston seals the combustion chamber with the closer.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 26, 2015
Date of Patent: October 2, 2018
Inventors: Paul Jermyn D. Ocampo, Peter Selwyn D. Ocampo

  • Publication number: 20060227824
Abstract: An optical assembly is disclosed. The optical assembly includes a laser having a front facet and a rear facet a thin film filter (TFF) to receive a first optical signal from the front facet of the laser and to reflect a component of the first optical signal back to the laser a back facet monitor (BFM) to receive a second optical signal and the reflected component from the rear facet of the laser and a feedback circuit to monitor the quantity of reflected component.

  • Patent number: 6901516
Abstract: A system for ciphering data for transmission by a communication device is provided. The system includes a memory device having a memory buffer a first access port connected to the memory buffer and a second access port connected to the memory buffer. The system also has a data processing processor connected to the first access port via a first bus and a ciphering processor connected to the second access port via a second bus. The first access port and the second access port each provide mutually independent access to the memory buffer. The second bus is not connected to the first bus. The data processing processor is adapted to receive the data and provide the data to the memory buffer over the first bus. The ciphering processor is adapted to retrieve the data from the memory buffer over the second bus, generate ciphered data from the data, generate integrity check information for the ciphered data using the data and provide the ciphered data to the memory buffer over the second bus.
