  • Patent number: 9857404
Abstract: A method for determining a resistance value of a plural number of actuating devices is provided. The method features a step of the application of a test current pulse at each of the plural number of actuating devices. Moreover, the method features the step of the evaluation of a total current of output currents of the plural number of actuating devices engaging on the test current pulses at a measuring resistor, in order to determine the resistance value of the plural number of actuating devices.

Abstract: A method for determining a resistance value of a plural number of actuating devices (310) is suggested. The method features a step of the application of a test current pulse at each of the plural number of actuating devices (310). Moreover, the method features one step of the evaluation of a total current of output currents of the plural number of actuating devices (310) engaging on the test current pulses at a measuring resistor (320), in order to determine the resistance value of the plural number of actuating devices (310).

  • Patent number: 6532410
Abstract: A method for application of the operating behavior of a device for actuating in particular a transmission. Actuators of this device defined by data elements and stored in a constant memory value are controlled by an electronic control unit. It is proposed to optimize the operating behavior of the transmission resulting here as consequence of predefined initial data elements of the correcting parameters by associating, as needed, new data elements with individual correcting parameters. The basic structure of the initial data elements is here copied, then the new data elements are as needed written in the copy of the basic structure of the initial data elements and at the same time corresponding address reference is entered in the data section of the initial data elements which points to the new data elements.

  • Patent number: 6397138
Abstract: For an automatic transmission (2), a safety system is proposed in which a virtual reduction ratio is calculated when a driver moves the selector lever from a drive position to neutral and then from neutral back to a drive position. The virtual reduction ratio is then compared with the reduction ratio resulting from a shift characteristic field. In case of divergence, the virtual reduction ratio is assigned to a characteristic field having a linearly constant reduction ratio surrounded by a reduction ratio range. The electronic control unit (5) selects as a set reduction ratio, the one containing in its range the virtual reduction ratio.

  • Patent number: 5991679
Abstract: For an automatic gearbox (2) a safety system is proposed in which erroneous releasing of the clutch or brake during cross-over is detected by the fact that the time variations of the transmission input speed and of the product of the transmission output speed multiplied by the first reduction ratio do not increase.

  • Patent number: 5609068
Abstract: The proposal is for a process for controlling and regulating the load take-up in an automatic transmission. To this end, in an overlapping gear change, the torque take-up of a first engaging clutch is derived from feedback values. The feedback values control or regulate the operation of a second disengaging clutch.
