  • Publication number: 20240122935
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the early prevention of overweight, obesity, excessive fat accumulation and/or associated metabolic disorders in infants or children. For example, the present invention relates to the prevention of overweight, obesity, excessive fat accumulation and/or associated metabolic disorders in infants or children through appropriate maternal nutrition for women desiring to get pregnant and/or during pregnancy and/or lactation. Embodiments of the present invention relate to the Vitamin B2 for use in the prevention of overweight, obesity, excessive fat accumulation and/or associated metabolic disorders in the offspring, wherein the vitamin B2 is administered to women desiring to get pregnant and/or to the mother during pregnancy and/or lactation and to maternal food compositions that can be used for this purpose.

  • Publication number: 20240110714
Abstract: A ventilator having a functionality to defrost a ventilator core includes a two sets of ports, one set used for coupling of the ventilator with ducting and other used for redirecting indoor air flowing along a first flowpath through the recovery core to a second flow path normally used for outdoor air. A re-circulator is removably fixed between an inlet for outdoor air and an outlet for indoor air of the set of ports not coupled to the ducting. A pair of dampers, operated by a single motor, allow the ventilator to be operated in a mode that enables redirection of the indoor air from the first flowpath to the second flowpath, simultaneously blocking inflow of the outdoor air.

  • Patent number: 11918943
Abstract: A turbine engine having a compressor section, a combustor section, a turbine section, and a rotatable drive shaft that couples a portion of the turbine section and a portion of the compressor section. A bypass conduit couples the compressor section to the turbine section while bypassing at least the combustion section. At least one particle separator is located in the turbine engine having a separator inlet that receives a bypass stream, a separator outlet that receives a reduced-particle stream flows, and a particle outlet that receives a concentrated-particle stream comprising separated particles. A conduit, fluidly coupled to the particle outlet, extends through an interior of at least one stationary vane.

  • Patent number: 10891770
Abstract: A remote station and method for rendering a ground plane over video feed are provided. The remote station comprises a processor, a communication interface for communicating with an unmanned vehicle (UV), and a non-transitory memory device storing a communications module. The communications module comprises machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to render a ground plane over video feed. The method comprises receiving a video feed from a camera on a UV, receiving from the UV telemetry information of the camera, receiving from the camera a zoom factor of the camera, calculating a horizon of the camera at a UV controller of the UV, and rendering the horizon as an overlay image on the video feed at a display of the UV controller.
