Abstract: An auger lock for conveying particulate material there through, said auger lock includes an auger tube receiving particulate material therein including an auger section, a material plug section, and an exit section. In the auger section; a drive for rotating a rotatable spiral auger mounted concentrically on a rotatable drive shaft within said auger tube for conveying particulate material there through. In the material plug section; conveyed particulate material is allowed to accumulate and compact to form a material plug to minimize free flow of gases through said auger tube. In said exit section; a means for discharging said particulate material from said auger tube.

Abstract: A computer network, and preferably a network concentrator, with a bidirectional serial channel. A plurality of devices on the channel are identified by addresses. The devices are divided into device groups and a device in one group can have an address which is identical to a device in another group. A management processor communicates with the individual devices by digital signaling through an analog multiplexer. The management processor decides which device group to communicate with, and then either generates a selection signal, or sends a data packet to a device register to generate a selection signal which causes the analog multiplexer to connect the bidirectional serial channel of the management processor to the bidirectional serial channel of the proper device group.

Abstract: A power clamp includes a body member (2), an arm member (14) connected to the body member by means of a pivot joint (16) to allow pivoting movement of the arm member between an open position and a closed position, an actuator (10), a first drive mechanism (42) connecting the actuator (10) to the arm member (14) to control movement thereof, and a second drive mechanism (20,28) connecting the actuator (10) to the arm member (14) to apply a clamping force to the arm member when the arm member is in a closed position.

Abstract: A product merchandiser mount of the present invention is located at an end of an upright wall and is used to support a hanger arm suspended to one side of the wall. The mount comprises a front portion with a forwardly opening hanger arm receiving channel and a side portion angled relative to and extending rearwardly from the front portion to provide a fitting shaped to the end of the wall.
