  • Patent number: 11965925
Abstract: A test device to localize a partial discharge in or at an electrical component may include at least one antenna to capture an electromagnetic wave caused by a partial discharge in the electrical component. The test device includes multiple microphones arranged in an environment around the electrical component. The microphones capture sound waves caused by the partial discharge. It is examined if an intensity of the electromagnetic wave exceeds a first limit value and/or the intensity of the sound wave captured by one of the multiple microphones exceeds a second limit value. Depending on the captured sound wave and/or the electromagnetic wave and on the examination relating to the first and/or second limit value, a location of the partial discharge can be determined.

  • Publication number: 20010016632
Abstract: Polyethylene film having a combination of a high melt strength and a high dart impact strength is prepared from a linear low density polyethylene resin having a melt index, (“I2”), of from 0.4 to 1.5 g/10 minutes, a broad molecular weight distribution (of from 3.5 to 7) and a quasi homogeneous comonomer distribution (as evidenced by a copolymer/homopolymer ratio of from 3 to 19). The polyethylene resin is prepared in a dual reactor polymerization process. The film is especially useful for industrial and “heavy duty” packaging applications such as the manufacture of plastic packages used to contain goods for the construction, gardening and agricultural businesses. Examples of such goods include peat moss, fertilizer, soil, sand, salt, fiberglass insulation and crushed stone.

  • Patent number: 5043041
Abstract: A process and nylon release sheet for manufacturing printed circuit boards from epoxy prepregs is disclosed. In such process layers of the prepregs are separated from one another by a release sheet. The release sheet comprises an aliphatic or aromatic nylon or nylon copolymer which is a condensation product of a dicarboxylic acid and a diamine. The nylon film contains a heat stabilizer and an inorganic particulate antiblock additive, e.g. diatomaceous earth, glass beads, amorphous silica, talc, mica and molybdenum disulphide. The nylon may be toughened by the addition of a phosphorus-containing catalyst or an epoxide.

  • Patent number: 4985102
Abstract: An oriented nylon film, useful as a carrier web in the manufacture of fibrous reinforced resin sheets, is disclosed. Oriented nylon film containing a salt selected from at least one copper salt, at least one alkali metal halide, at least one alkaline earth metal halide or mixtures thereof is disclosed. The nylon film is preferably nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 66/6 and/or mixtures thereof and the salt is preferably a copper salt, especially cupric acetate or cupric iodide, or potassium bromide.

  • Patent number: 4658056
Abstract: A process for the catalytic oxidation of liquid cycloparaffins to oxidation products thereof is disclosed. In the process, partial oxidation products are formed by oxidizing the cycloparaffin with molecular oxygen-containing gas in the presence of an oxidation catalyst comprising two heavy metal compounds. The first heavy metal compound is a cobalt compound having ligands selected from dialkyl phosphate, dicycloalkylphosphate and alkylcycloalkylphosphate, optionally additionally combined with pyridine. The second heavy metal compound is a chromium alkanoate. A preferred catalyst is cobalt bis[di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate] combined with chromium naphthenate.
