Publication number: 20200178010Abstract: There is provided a hearing aid with a Receiver In The Ear speaker assembly comprising an connecting member with electric conductors connecting a connector at one end, and a receiver housing with a receiver at the opposite end. A microphone housing with a microphone is attached to the connecting member. Placed along the connecting member, the microphone housing with the microphone is separated by a distance from the receiver in the receiver housing, thus reducing acoustic or mechanical feedback problems. Especially, the microphone and connector may share one common housing.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 3, 2019Publication date: June 4, 2020Applicant: Oticon A/SInventors: Jacob Anders ROUG, Peter SOMMER, Martin LARSEN, Anders Højsgaard THOMSEN, Peter H. Patent number: 10241798Abstract: An issue control unit is configured to control the rate at which an instruction issue unit issues instructions to an execution pipeline in order to avoid spikes in power drawn by that execution pipeline. The issue control unit maintains a history buffer that reflects, for N previous cycles, the number of instructions issued during each of those N cycles. If the total number of instructions issued during the N previous cycles exceeds a threshold value, then the issue control unit throttles the instruction issue unit from issuing instructions during a subsequent cycle. In addition, the issue control unit increases the threshold value in proportion to the number of previously issued instructions and based on a variety of configurable parameters. Accordingly, the issue control unit maintains granular control over the rate with which the instruction issue unit “ramps up” to a maximum instruction issue rate.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2013Date of Patent: March 26, 2019Assignee: NVIDIA CORPORATIONInventors: Peter Sommers, Peter Nelson, Aniket Naik, John H. Patent number: 10043230Abstract: Computer and graphics processing elements, connected generally in series, form a pipeline. Circuit elements known as di/dt throttles are inserted within the pipeline at strategic locations where the potential exists for data flow to transition from an idle state to a maximum data processing rate. The di/dt throttles gently ramp the rate of data flow from idle to a typical level. Disproportionate current draw and the consequent voltage droop are thus avoided, allowing an increased frequency of operation to be realized.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2013Date of Patent: August 7, 2018Assignee: NVIDIA CORPORATIONInventors: Philip Payman Shirvani, Peter Sommers, Eric T. Anderson

Publication number: 20160321226Abstract: Insertion of unsaved content through a content channel is provided. A productivity service receives a content change of a document from a productivity application through a content channel within a period of time. The period of time is within a range of a real time. The content change is applied into the document managed by the productivity service. Subsequently, the content change is transmitted to another productivity application through another content channel within another period of time. The content change is transmitted to prompt the other productivity application to present the document with the content change. The other period of time is also within the range of the real time.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2015Publication date: November 3, 2016Inventors: Michelle Keslin, Peter Sommer, Ali Taleghani, Jitesh Sachdeva
