  • Publication number: 20070133310
Abstract: An integrated circuit digital device is coupled to a memory with a single-node data, address and control bus. The memory may be a non-volatile memory and/or volatile memory. The memory may be packaged in a low pin count integrated circuit package. The memory integrated circuit package may have a ground terminal, VSS; a power terminal, VDD or VCC; and a bidirectional serial input-output (I/O) terminal, SCIO. Memory block address set-up may be performed via software instructions through the SCIO terminal. In addition, hardwired memory block address selection terminals A0 and A1 may be used when more then three terminals are available on the memory integrated circuit package. The memory may have active pull-up and pull-down drivers coupled to the single-node data, address and control bus.

  • Patent number: 6720866
Abstract: A radio frequency identification tag device having a sensor input which modifies a tag data word bitstream read by an interrogator/tag detector. The sensor input may be a switch contact(s), digital and/or analog. The sensor input may be voltage, current, pressure, temperature, resistance, acceleration, moisture, gas and the like. Power from the radio frequency interrogator/tag reader may be used to power the circuits of the radio frequency tag device, which in turn may supply power to any sensor connected thereto.

  • Patent number: 6043746
Abstract: A Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) security tag for attachment to a small article of merchandise to monitor the tagged item. The security tag uses a thin flexible strip. An RFID tag device is coupled to the thin flexible strip and is used for storing data related to the small article of merchandise to be monitored. A plurality of conductors are laid on the thin flexible strip. The plurality of conductors are coupled together to form a multiple turn coil for providing energy to the RFID tag device when a first end of the thin flexible strip is coupled to a second end of the thin flexible strip to form a loop.
