  • Patent number: 9294004
Abstract: A peak detector for synchronized switch harvesting on inductor converter includes a comparator and a filter for filtering an input signal to the peak detector and for providing a filtered signal to an input of the comparator. The filter has differentiating and integrating transfer characteristics for low and high frequency ranges, respectively, of the input signal so that peaks of the input signal to the peak detector which have primarily frequency components in the low range cause a relatively strong variation of the filtered signal and peaks of the input signal to the peak detector which have primarily frequency components in the high range are substantially integrated and cause a relatively weak variation of the filtered signal. The relatively strong variation of the filtered signal crosses a threshold of the comparator, which is configured to generate an output signal indicating a relation of the filtered signal regarding the comparator threshold.

  • Publication number: 20110234313
Abstract: An amplifier for an input signal Sin, present at an input terminal, with a gain factor adjustable by a control terminal, so as to provide the amplified input signal Sin? at an output terminal. A decoupler is connected to the amplifier on the output side and provides a decoupling signal Sactual which depends on the amplified input signal Sin?. The decoupling signal Sactual is processed in an analog manner, and a prepared signal Sactual? is provided which is a measure of the actual output power. Comparing the prepared signal Sactual? to a target value Starget in an analog manner yields a comparison signal Scontrol controlling the gain factor, and a target value Starget is a measure of the target power of the amplified input signal Sin?. The processor is implemented to create a predetermined ratio between the target power and the actual power.

  • Publication number: 20090277098
Abstract: The invention relates to an abrasive wherein abrasive grains are embedded in a matrix comprising a non-cellular, particularly non-foamed thermosetting binder for the abrasive grains, and wherein a contact surface covered by abrasive grains is configured for abrasion of a workpiece. In accordance with the invention the matrix is elastically compliant to such an extent that the abrasive grains covering the contact surface are impressed into the matrix during abrasion. The abrasive grains are dispersed in the matrix such that the consumption of the matrix perpendicular to the contact surface covered originally with abrasive grains releases a further contact surface covered with abrasive grains. The abrasive grains are dispersed in the matrix such that they comply with the return force of the matrix both perpendicular and parallel to the corresponding contact surface of the abrasive. The matrix is bonded to a flexible backing.
