  • Publication number: 20080047611
Abstract: A pumping apparatus (1) adapted for delivering fluid against pressure. The pumping apparatus has a plurality of metering devices (3,5) adapted for metering a plurality of different fluids, and has a booster device (7) adapted for increasing the pressure of the fluids metered by the plurality of metering devices (3,5) to said high pressure, and has a damping device (9) adapted for compensating fluctuations of the fluids metered by the plurality of metering devices (3,5). Each device (3,5,7,9) has an inlet (41) and an outlet (43). The outlets of the metering devices are coupled to the inlet (41) of the booster device (7), and the outlet of the booster device (7) is coupled to the inlet of the damping device (9).

  • Publication number: 20060232287
Abstract: A measurement device for performing a measurement, the measurement device comprising a storage unit for storing acquired measurement data indicative of an order of storing the measurement data, wherein the measurement data is transmittable to a coupled controller device, and a processor which is adapted to, upon receipt of an availability request of the controller device related to measurement data stored in the storage device and available for transmission, provide the controller device with information in accordance with the availability request based on the order.

  • Patent number: 6148680
Abstract: A sample injector for a high-pressure liquid chromatography system that has an injector needle, which is freely movable within a three dimensional sample space. The needle is attached to a means of transport, which moves in the Y-, Y- and Z-axes. The needle can be moved to various sample intake positions on a sample tray and to the injection position where the sample is injected into the capillary system. The means of transport comprises a mechanism called X-carriage, which is movable in horizontal direction. The X-carriage has jib attached that performs the vertical movement. The jib a robot arm, which can rotate for .+-.180.degree. in a horizontal plane. The injection needle is attached to the end of the robot arm. The needle is connected with a metering means, through a flexible connection capillary comprising a glass capillary and a plastic coating.
