  • Patent number: 12474024
Abstract: The invention relates to an illumination system (80) comprising at least one conductor-bar-free assembly profile rail (60) for accommodating at least one lighting unit (70) that is insertable into the assembly profile rail (60), and at least one supply connector (50) that is insertable into the assembly profile rail (60). In this case, the assembly profile rail (60) is in the form of an extruded plastics or aluminum profile and the lighting unit (70) is in the form of a long rigid strip which has at least one semiconductor light source (71) on its front surface and at least two exposed, continuous contacting conductor tracks (74) on its back surface. The lighting unit (70) further comprises a housing element (73) which is designed to be mechanically couplable to the assembly profile rail (60) and which is used to hold the lighting unit (70) in the assembly profile rail (60).

  • Publication number: 20240347991
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical connection system in LED profile systems (60) and its components and the assembly of said components. The connection system comprises, in particular, an electrical connection element (40) for supplying electrical power to an LED strip (70) which is in the form of a flexprint strip (41). The connection element (40) has a supply connection length region (43) with exposed longitudinal conductor tracks (42), an LED connecting length region (44) with longitudinal conductor tracks (42) in the positions of the connections of the LED strip (70) and an adhesive area (45) on the rear side of the connection element (40). Here, the electrical connection element (40) can be folded over at a bending point (46) between the supply connection length region (43) and the LED connecting length region (44), so that they come to rest on opposite sides of the profile system (60).

  • Patent number: 9520700
Abstract: Machines and methods for removing screens from cable, wherein screen surrounds at least one electrical or optical conductor (22). The screen may be a braided screen (21) from a cable (19) including at least one conductor (22), screen (21), and outer insulation (20). After baring screen (21) by removing outer insulation (20), a section is deformed and/or unbraided, and then the deformed section of the screen (21) is cut off. The step of deforming and/or unbraiding is accomplished by lifting-off the screen (21) from the inner conductor (22) on at least one end of the section of the screen (21) to be removed, at least over a part of the circumference of the cable. This step additionally includes or may be followed by pressing the parts of the screen (21), that have been lifted off onto an erection surface (28) before cutting them off, whereby preferably the parts of the screen (21) that have been lifted off are bent backwards in the direction of the yet undeformed screen (21).
