The storage system provides strongly consistent distributed storage communication protocol semantics, such as SCSI target semantics. The system includes a mechanism for presenting a single distributed logical unit, comprising one or more logical sub-units, as a single logical unit of storage to a host system by associating each of the logical sub-units that make up the single distributed logical unit with a single host visible identifier that corresponds to the single distributed logical unit. A remote sensing imagery system includes a radar assembly mounted to a mobile structure and a coupled logic device. The logic device is configured to receive radar returns corresponding to a detected target from the radar assembly and image data corresponding to the radar returns from the imaging system, and then generate radar image data based on the radar returns and the image data. Subsequent user input and/or the sensor data may be used to adjust a steering actuator, a propulsion system thrust, and/or other operational systems of the mobile structure.

A remote sensing imagery system includes a radar assembly mounted to a mobile structure and a coupled logic device. The logic device is configured to receive radar returns corresponding to a detected target, determine a radial velocity spectrum associated with the detected target based, at least in part, on the received radar returns, and determine a probability the detected target includes a feeding flock based, at least in part, on the determined radial velocity spectrum. The logic device may generate radar image data based on the received radar returns, the determined radial velocity spectrum, and/or the probability the detected target includes the feeding flock. Subsequent user input and/or the sensor data may be used to adjust a steering actuator, a propulsion system thrust, and/or other operational systems of the mobile structure.

The device receives a finite set of data points and calculates a respective conical distribution for each respective data point centered on the respective data point and based on a respective data value. Each conical distribution comprises a set of locations and a unique distribution value corresponding to each location. The device determines that a first data value of a first data point is less than a distribution value for a second data point. The distribution value has a location that corresponds to the first data point. Based on that determination, the device calculates an inverse conical distribution in a region around the first data point. The device combines the conical distributions and inverse conical distributions to display a data visualization that includes each of the data points.
