Method for Mixing a Powder with a Liquid, and Capsule and Mixing Device for Carrying Out Said Method
Publication number: 20160345769Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a mixed drink, wherein a capsule (22) enclosing a powder-filled volume (27) is inserted into a receptacle of a mixing device, and is opened by closing a lid of the receptacle, and as a result, a cover film (26) of the capsule (22) is pierced by several hollow needles (12, 14). To this end, pressure is exerted thereon by means of a punch (9), which causes the piercing of a closure film (25) above an outlet (24) via mixing rods (32) and via skewers (29) arranged in the volume (27). Water is then injected through a portion of the hollow needles (12), and the mixture is discharged through the outlet (24). After a pause or introduction of air under positive pressure by means of a further hollow needle (14), water is injected again, and finally, air is introduced once again. During the entire process, the receptacle is put into a vibration by an electric motor via an eccentric pin, the frequency of which is about 42 Hz, and the amplitude of which is about 1.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 1, 2014Publication date: December 1, 2016Inventors: Clemens Maurice CLAUSEN, Marcel DELAVY, Hans Peter STOCKER -

Patent number: 7240608Abstract: A cylinder liner (2) for a cylinder block has a contouring (6) at one end. The contouring (6) serves to support the liner (2) on a sleeve (4) inside a die-casting tool. When the liner (2) is cast in, recesses (10) of the liner (2) are filled by the material of the cylinder crankcase whereby preventing the liner (2) from seating toward an oil chamber (14). The invention also relates to a method for producing a cylinder liner of the aforementioned type.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2003Date of Patent: July 10, 2007Assignee: DaimlerChrysler AGInventors: Helmut Schaefer, Peter Stocker, Oliver Storz

Publication number: 20070060025Abstract: The invention relates to a process for precision-machining a cylindrical inner surface, in particular a cylinder bearing surface, which has material of different hardnesses in the axial direction. The cylindrical inner surface is subjected to a precision-turning step, a preliminary honing step and a precision-honing step. The process is distinguished by the fact that the preliminary honing step produces a cone (11) in the cylindrical inner surface, in such a way that the cone (11) widens out from a harder region (4) toward a softer region (6). In the subsequent precision-honing step, the cone (11) is compensated for again in the harder region (4) to produce a cylindrical inner surface, whereas the cone (11) is retained in the softer region (6). This prevents the fine abrasive particles on the precision-honing stone from becoming clogged as a result of contact with the softer region.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2003Publication date: March 15, 2007Inventors: Ulrich Haerer, Franz Rueckert, Helmut Schaefer, Peter Stocker, Oliver Storz

Patent number: 6309480Abstract: A cylinder liner cast into a reciprocating piston engine made of a supereutectic aluminum/silicon alloy which is free of mixed-in particles of hard material and which is composed in such a way that fine silicon primary crystals and intermetallic particles automatically form from the melt as hard particles. A blank is allowed to grow from finely sprayed melt droplets by spray compaction, with a fine distribution of hard particles being produced by setting the spray for small melt droplets. The fine-grained, hard particles formed from the melt and also the mechanical exposure of the hard particles on the surface of the cylinder results not only in high wear resistance and high contact area of the surface, but also in gentle treatment of the piston and its rings.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2000Date of Patent: October 30, 2001Assignee: DaimlerChrysler AGInventors: Franz Rückert, Peter Stocker, Roland Biedermann, Roland Rieger

Patent number: 6286210Abstract: Surface activation is intended to ensure that a cylinder liner can be anchored in the casting material of a light-metal crankcase with greater bonding. For surface activation, the surface of the cylinder liner is roughened mechanically. Advantageously, copper particles are also implanted into the treated surface. It is necessary to ensure that the time span between surface activation and casting-in is short. Moreover, the activated surface, as far as possible, should not be touched by hand.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2000Date of Patent: September 11, 2001Assignee: DaimlerChrysler AGInventors: Franz Rückert, Peter Stocker

Patent number: 6286583Abstract: A cylinder-liner blank which preferably consists of a hypereutectic aluminum/silicon alloy and is cast into a crankcase. A special surface treatment achieves better material bonding of the liner in the crankcase. The blank has a roughness of 30 to 60 &mgr;m on its outside, in the form of pyramid-like or lancet-like protruding material scabs or material accumulations. To obtain this roughness, the surface is blasted with particles which are broken so as to have sharp edges and consist of a brittle hard material, preferably high-grade corundum, with an average grain size of about 70 &mgr;m. A fine fraction is formed and is continuously separated off. The average grain size is maintained by adding new particles.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2000Date of Patent: September 11, 2001Assignee: DaimlerChrysler AGInventors: Franz Rueckert, Peter Stocker

Patent number: 6221504Abstract: A tribological coating made of a copper-free highly hypereutectic aluminum/silicon alloy and/or of a copper-free aluminum/silicon composite material composed such that fine silicon primary crystals and/or silicon particles, intermetallic phases, and oxides form as hard particles during the production of the layers in the atmospheric thermal spraying method and/or are anchored in the structure. The surface of the coating can be machined economically by short-chipping using conventional tools, so that additional alloy elements such as copper for forming additional intermetallic phases such as Al2Cu can be eliminated. This is significant because conventional AlSi cylinder liners in reciprocating engines pose problems in conjunction with certain fuels because of their copper content.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 1998Date of Patent: April 24, 2001Assignee: DaimlerChrysler AGInventors: Harald Pfeffinger, Micheal Voit, Tilman Haug, Patrick Izquierdo, Herbert Gasthuber, Oliver Storz, Axel Heuberger, Franz Rueckert, Peter Stocker, Helmut Proefrock
