  • Patent number: 9587393
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing sandwich construction elements for substantially load-bearing and self-supporting building parts. In one embodiment of the invention, a method is provided including a) producing at least one layer of a mechanically bonded fiber nonwoven which is impregnated with a binder based on at least one heat-curable resin system b) curing the heat-curable resin system in order to produce at least one hardened layer of the fiber nonwoven, and fixed thermally, c) bringing a heat-foamable or heat-foamed phenol resin into contact with that surface of at least one hardened layer of the fiber nonwoven which has been modified according to step b), d) possibly annealing the composite produced in a) to c), and e) curing the further binder based on at least one heat-curable resin system.

  • Publication number: 20120058881
Abstract: The invention relates to a ceramic product, manufactured from a mixture made of natural and/or synthetic inorganic non-metal raw materials, at least one binder and optionally further additives. In order to provide ceramic products allowing for disadvantages known from the prior art to be eliminated, at least with respect to corrosion and erosion, it is proposed that the ceramic products are manufactured from a mixture comprising a) at least 10% by weight (based on the weight of all solids of the mixture) oxidic components, b) 0.05 to 2.7% by weight (based on the weight of all solids of the mixture) at least one organic-based binder, acting as a solubilizer in the mixture, and c) 3 to 10% by weight (based on the weight of all solids of the mixtures) hydrous dispersing agent, and that the ceramic product contains less than 0.1% by weight (based on the total weight of the ceramic product) of carbon after the use thereof at temperatures above 600° C.

  • Patent number: 8026300
Abstract: The invention relates to watery resin dispersions, a process for their manufacture, and a product. To make available resin dispersions that do not pollute the environment during their processing, while simultaneously generating products that have a high glass transition temperature, it is suggested that the watery resin dispersion contain at least components (I), (II) and (III), whereby R1: unsubstituted single or polynuclear aromatic rest or with amino groups and/or cyano groups and/or nitrile groups and/or with saturated and/or unsaturated aliphatic C2 to C12 carbon chains substituted single or polynuclear aromatic rests R2, R3 and R4: hydrogen, alkyl residue group with up to 15 C atoms or aromatic rest whereby R2, R3 and R4 can be equal to or different from each other, (II) is a co-dispersion agent based on epoxide resins and/or novolak resins and (II) one surfactant.

  • Publication number: 20020116776
Abstract: A multiple pig subsea pig launcher is disclosed. The pig launcher can be assembled on a production pipeline subsea with the aid of an ROV. In the preferred embodiment, the pigs are connected to each other and spaced apart by a spine. The pig launcher is configured to capture the next pig to be launched in such a manner that the spine behind it is in alignment with a shearing valve; for example, coiled tubing or wireline. Sequential valve operation shears the spine and applies pressure behind the pig to launch it from the launcher past the pig detector and onto a platform for recapture.
