  • Patent number: 9616146
Abstract: A fluid line treatment kit for a dairy farm milking system having a vacuum subsystem for imparting vacuum within a fluid line is provided. The fluid line treatment kit includes at least one ozone gas source; a conduit associated with each ozone gas source configured to convey ozone gas to within the fluid line at a respective location; and a control system configured to trigger each ozone gas source to produce ozone gas while the vacuum subsystem is actuated. Vacuum imparted by the vacuum subsystem in the fluid line draws ozone gas via the at least one conduit into and through the fluid line.

  • Patent number: 9586839
Abstract: Embodiments of a water treatment system, a method of regenerating a water treatment system, a use of a water softener valve and an ozone kit for a water filtration system are provided. The water treatment system includes a water tank containing iron filtration media; an ozone gas source having an outlet; and a water softener valve having a venturi nozzle that is associated with the water tank and in fluid communication with the outlet of the ozone gas source, the water softener valve configured to invoke a regeneration mode during which the water softener valve controls backwashing of the iron filtration media and then permits ozone gas from the ozone gas source to be drawn through the venturi nozzle and into the water tank.

  • Patent number: 9387131
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided to minimize waste and improve quality and production in web processing operations. A first non-elastomeric layer is bonded with an elastomeric layer, and to a second non-elastomeric layer. The apparatus and methods provide defect detection in the elastomeric layer and triggers an unthreading/rethreading sequence. Web defect detection may be provided by way of at least one visual inspection station. If defects are detected in the elastic layer, the resulting products may be culled.

  • Patent number: 9321660
Abstract: A device for interfering with removal of a riser tube from within a water treatment tank. The device includes a collar having a central region dimensioned to fixedly receive the riser tube; and at least one restraining arm extending from the collar away from the central region, wherein the at least one restraining arm is dimensioned to contact an inner wall of the water treatment tank when the riser tube is moved upwards with respect to the treatment tank thereby interfering with removal of the riser tube from the water treatment tank.

  • Patent number: 9199231
Abstract: Embodiments of a water treatment system, a water treatment method, and an ozone kit for a water treatment system are provided. The water treatment system includes an ozone gas source; a regenerating fluid source; a water tank; a manifold having a first port in fluid communication with the regenerating fluid source, a second port in fluid communication with an outlet of the ozone gas source, and a third port in fluid communication with the water tank via a venturi nozzle; and a control system configured to: cause regenerating fluid to be drawn through the venturi nozzle into the water tank; and cause ozone gas to be drawn through the venturi nozzle into the water tank.
