  • Publication number: 20210153656
Abstract: A folding chair includes a backrest and a pair of armrests pivotally coupled to the backrest. A pair of rear legs are pivotally coupled to the backrest and define a rear leg angle therebetween. A pair of front legs are pivotally coupled to respective armrests and define a front leg angle therebetween. A pair of wheels are coupled to the backrest. The folding chair is positionable in a deployed configuration wherein distal ends of the rear and front legs are in coplanar alignment. The folding chair is also positionable in a folded configuration wherein distal ends of the rear legs and the front legs are in non-coplanar alignment with each other and the wheels are positioned to roll the folding chair on a support surface. The rear and front leg angles decreasing as the folding chair transitions from the deployed configuration toward the folded configuration.

  • Publication number: 20170171368
Abstract: Stackable electronic devices are disclosed which can be stacked onto each other in such a manner that electrical contacts with one device mate with electronic contacts on other devices either above or below the device to create an electrical connection between the devices in the stack. Magnets or latches can be used to secure the stacked devices together. The contacts, as well as status indicators, are arranged in common locations on the devices and the devices can be capable of automatically configuring addressing, device capabilities, and wireless communication paths.

  • Publication number: 20120238179
Abstract: A transformative floor mat system that is interactive as a toy and a mat that is safe, fun and creative. In one form, the floor mat has tiles with interlocking structure around the edges of each tile to prove for a secured large surface area. The floor mat also has play pieces that can be removed from within each tiles so that each tile can be connected to one another to form a play figure. The floor mat system could also be configured to form other three-dimensional structures and environments, such as castles, forests, and beaches.

  • Publication number: 20070243068
Abstract: A fan blade includes an airfoil having opposite pressure and suction sides extending in span between a root and tip, and extending in chord between opposite leading and trailing edges. From root toward tip, the airfoil includes increasing stagger and decreasing camber, and increasing chord length to barrel the airfoil along both the leading and trailing edges. The airfoil further includes forward aerodynamic sweep at the tip, and non-forward aerodynamic sweep between the maximum barrel and the root.

  • Publication number: 20070166150
Abstract: An actuation system for a plurality of variable stator vanes pivotally mounted in a casing of a compressor. The system includes a plurality of levers each having a proximal end and an opposite distal end. Each of the proximal ends are fixedly coupled to a corresponding stator vane of the plurality of variable stator vanes for pivoting the corresponding stator vane about a stator vane axis. The system also includes an actuation ring coaxially surrounding the casing adjacent the plurality of levers. The actuation ring is coupled to the distal ends of each of the plurality of levers for pivoting the levers as the actuation ring is rotated about a compressor rotation axis. The actuation ring includes a pin extending outward from a radially outward surface of the actuation ring. The system also includes a template comprising a slot for receiving at least a portion of the actuation ring pin.

  • Publication number: 20060228206
Abstract: A turbofan includes a row of fan blades extending from a supporting disk inside an annular casing. Each blade includes an airfoil having opposite pressure and suction sides extending radially in span between a root and tip and axially in chord between leading and trailing edges. Adjacent airfoils define corresponding flow passages therebetween for pressurizing air. Each airfoil includes stagger increasing between the root and tip, and the flow passage has a mouth between the airfoil leading edge and the suction side of an adjacent airfoil and converges to a throat aft from the mouth. The row includes no more than twenty fan blades having low tip solidity for increasing the width of the passage throat.
