  • Patent number: 11309650
Abstract: A connector assembly includes a female connector body and a male connector body defining a shroud configured to receive the female connector body. The electrical connector assembly further includes a resilient seal axially surrounding a portion of the female connector body. The seal is disposed intermediate the female connector body and the shroud. The connector assembly additionally includes a seal retainer attached to the female connector body. The female connector body defines an outwardly extending retaining ledge on the forward portion of the female connector body. The seal defines an inwardly extending retaining hook engaging the retaining ledge. A portion of the retaining hook is disposed intermediate the female connector body and the seal retainer.

  • Patent number: 10493675
Abstract: A method of forming a resilient seal about a work piece is presented. The method includes the steps of providing a work piece defining a rib circumferentially protruding from an outer surface about a longitudinal axis of the work piece and providing a mold. The mold defines a first cavity configured to receive the work piece, a second cavity circumferentially extending about the longitudinal axis of the work piece and in communication with the first cavity, and a port in communication with the second cavity. The method further includes the steps of inserting the work piece within the first cavity such the rib is circumferentially in intimate contact with an inner surface of the first cavity, introducing a curable resilient material into the port, thereby filling the second cavity with the resilient material, curing the resilient material, and then removing the work piece from the mold.

  • Patent number: 7676892
Abstract: A tie device has a tie strap and a buckle engaging serrations on a free end of the tie strap retaining the free end of the tie strap in the buckle A passage extends through the buckle from an insertion end to an exit end. A cam action lock pawl is located in the passage. The lock pawl has a first resilient leg that is attached to a fulcrum portion of the buckle; that slants upward with respect to a base wall of the passage toward the exit end of the passage and that terminates in a free end. The lock pawl has a second resilient leg that is attached to the first resilient leg and that extends back toward the insertion end of the passage. The second resilient leg has a plurality of teeth that are mutually engageable with respective serrations of the tie strap.

  • Patent number: 6978595
Abstract: A cable carrier chain having improved strength and flexibility (including improved bilateral flexibility) useful in automotive and other applications contains pivotally joined chain links, each link containing two side plates, two undercut pins, two round apertures which are slightly oversized relative to the pins, a hinged cover lid and a bottom support plate. In the chain, the undercut pins of one chain link are mated with the slightly oversized apertures of an adjacent link, giving the chain increased strength and flexibility. The cover lid preferably includes a hinge member having a relatively thin horizontal strap hinge disposed between two relatively thick vertical hinge straps. The bottom surface of the support plate preferably contains ribs which reduce noise and wear.
