Patent number: 11912466Abstract: A fuel container having a body defining a volume for receiving fuel. The body has an inlet and optionally a vent. The inlet extends upwards as a spout and has a threaded collar which is closed by a threaded cap. A gas expansion pathway is provided between the inlet and the vent. The spout has a guide for receiving and locating a dog-leg portion of a fuel dispenser nozzle. A restriction in the throat of the spout prevents the fuel dispenser nozzle from being inserted beyond a preselected distance into the container thereby preventing backwash and spillage.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2020Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: B & T Products Ltd.Inventors: Peter Taylor, James Butler

Patent number: 10574685Abstract: A system, method, and device are presented for assessing a target network's vulnerability to a real cyberthreat based on determining policy-based synthetic tests configured to model the behavior of the cyberthreat. Real-time feedback from the target network (e.g., servers, desktops, and network/monitoring hardware and/or software equipment) are received, analyzed, and used to determine whether any modifications to the same or a new synthesized test is preferred. The technology includes self-healing processes that, using the feedback mechanisms, can attempt to find patches for known vulnerabilities, test for unknown vulnerabilities, and configure the target network's resources in accordance with predefined service-level agreements.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2018Date of Patent: February 25, 2020Assignee: Goldman Sachs & Co. Publication number: 20190357339Abstract: Multipurpose systems can include networked devices configured to include microphones, motion sensors, video cameras, touchscreens, optical sensors, speakers, or other suitable devices. The networked devices can include networking capabilities that enable the networked device to communicate with target devices and other networked devices. A system of networked devices can identify a target location or a target device by analyzing audio signals received at microphones of the networked devices. For example, a plurality of networked devices can identify a particular networked device that is in closest proximity to a user by analyzing an audio intensity of an audio signal received at the plurality of networked devices. The identified networked device can serve as a master device that can control a state of target devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2019Publication date: November 21, 2019Applicant: Belkin International, Inc.Inventors: Ryan Yong Kim, Ohad Zeira, Thorben Neu, Jon Plummer, Dale Honda, Steve Lane, Joseph August, Peter Taylor, Oliver Duncan Seil, Michael Wick, Paer Saangloef, Matt Glidden

Publication number: 20180226101Abstract: A multimedia creation tool which determines the time structure of a sequence of media and text files using user inputted timestamps. A sequence of text strings are associated with a sequence of media files using timestamps input manually and with user commands. Adjacent text strings in the sequence can be separated any symbol that can be read by a processor. The timestamps are created in response to commands from users, such as touches on a touch screen or hitting the space bar on a keyboard. Each time a user enters a command, a text string can be inserted into the multimedia file at a temporal location based on the timing of the command. A user can associate a particular media file with a particular text string, so both can be inserted into the multimedia file at the same time. This tool can significantly reduce the time and cost of creating a multimedia file.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 3, 2018Publication date: August 9, 2018Inventors: Peter TAYLOR, Sean COKER

Patent number: 9919844Abstract: A bag has a tubular edge portion defining an open end, the edge portion being defined by two elongate parts. Adhesive is disposed upon one of the parts and is adapted to grip the other of the parts. A strip extends from the open end to a terminus disposed interiorly of the bag, is adhesively secured to the one part in overlying relation to the adhesive and has apertures thereby defining areas of exposed adhesive. A lip has a release portion that extends from the terminus and is frangibly connected thereto, the release portion being disposed in overlying relation to the strip, to isolate the other of the parts from the areas of exposed adhesive and has an adhesive resistant surface to permit the lip to be detached via the frangible connection, thereby to permit closure by adhesion of said other of the parts to the areas of exposed adhesive.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2015Date of Patent: March 20, 2018Inventor: Peter Taylor

Patent number: 9728817Abstract: An apparatus for electrically charging a rechargeable power source of a pipeline tool while the tool is located within a pipeline comprises a power module including a charging power source, an insertion module including an insertion mechanism having a charging plug for mating with a charging socket of the pipeline tool and a drive assembly operable to extend and retract the charging plug, and a power line electrically connecting the charging power source to the charging plug. The charging power source, power line, and charging plug may be enclosed by a pressure barrier and brought into pressure equalization with the pipeline, wherein the power line does not cross the barrier. The charging power source may include batteries or a generator. If a generator is employed and a pressure barrier must be maintained, a magnetic coupling may be used to transmit kinetic energy across the barrier for input to the generator.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2013Date of Patent: August 8, 2017Assignee: InvoDane Engineering Ltd.Inventors: Corry Comello, Paul Laursen, Daryl Speers, Peter Taylor
