Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of therapeutically useful, highly stable soft gelatine capsules containing native oils obtained in the case of vegetable oils by the cold pressing of mainly plant parts, such as seeds, which comprises adjusting the free fatty acid content of the oil to an acid number of from about 0.3 to about 4.5 by mixing oils of identical or different natural source with a different acid number not in excess of about 4.5 and then filling the oil into soft gelatine capsules aromatized from about 0% to about 10% by mass of a perfume.

Abstract: The invention relates to fungicidal plant protecting composition comprising 3-90% by weight of a fungicidal active ingredient in admixture with 1-90% by weight of cyclodextrin and optionally with usual auxiliary agents.The advantage of the synergistic composition of the present invention is that identical fungicidal effect can be achieved with a significantly lower active ingredient dosage and this decreases the costs involved with the active ingredient and reduces the risks of environmental pollution as well.

Abstract: The invention relates to novel, sulfur-containing 5-substituted benzimidazole derivatives of formula I ##STR1## and acid-addition salts thereof antihyperlipoproteinemic action, a process for preparing the same, pharmaceutical formulations comprising the novel compound as active ingredient and a method for inhibiting atherosclerosis, trombus formation and treating hyperlipoproteinemic diseases.

Abstract: The invention relates to new phenanthrene derivatives wherein R stand for C.sub.1-10 alkylamino; C.sub.1-10 alkylthio; C.sub.1-5 alkoxy; or phenyl or phenylamino, the two latter groups being optionally substituted on the phenyl ring by one or more identical or different C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, nitro, amino, cyano and/or halogen substituent(s) .The compounds of the present invention possess valuable fungicidal properties and may be used in agriculture, horticulture and therapy as active ingredient of fungicidal or antifungal compositions.The compounds of the general Formula I ##STR1## may be prepared by acylating 9,10-phenanthrene-dione-9-oxime or an alkali or alkali earth metal salt thereof.

Abstract: New thiazolidine compounds of the formula (I) having anti-ulcer activity are disclosed: ##STR1## wherein Ar is a 2-furyl or a phenyl, naphthyl or pyridyl group optionally substituted by one or more C.sub.1-4 -alkyl, C.sub.1-4 -alkoxy, halo-C.sub.1-4 -alkoxy, dihalomethyl, trihalomethyl, hydroxyl or nitro groups or by a group of the formula (II), ##STR2## wherein Y is nitrogen or CH;Z is cyano or carbamoyl if Y is nitrogen, and represents a nitro group if Y is CH.Also disclosed are several processes for preparing the new compounds as well as pharmaceutical compositions and method of treatment employing same.

Abstract: An adsorbent layer (stationary phase) for a pressurized layer chromatographic apparatus, for the development of linear chromatogram, is sealed at the edges by impregnation. For the purpose of solvent control some of the adsorbent material is removed in one or several zones of the adsorbent layer near the place of solvent admission, or one or several baffle plates or wires are arranged behind the place(s) of sample application, or if necessary, the adsorbent layer is provided with a conventionally formed concentration zone in the area of the solvent admission. As a result of the impregnation, the migrating solvent composite does not escape at the edges of the adsorbent layer according to the invention in case of overpressure. As a result of the removal of adsorbent material, or the arrangement of baffles or wires, or the application of a concentration zone, the solvent migrates with a straight-line front.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of propagating material of plants by micropropagation in sterile tissue culture which comprises(a) planting sterile shoot cuttings of plants in solid nutrient medium in a suitable flask, filling up the flask with a suitable liquid nutrient medium optionally containing a growth regulator and growing the shoots in the submersed system; thereafter(b) cutting up into pieces the ramified culture thus obtained which contains a number of lateral buds and shoots, rooting the top-end shoots and planting the same after adaptation, and subjecting the cuttings prepared from the lower and middle parts of the shoot cultures to further cultivations according to step (a);and repeating steps (a) and (b) until the desired number of top-end shoots is reached.
