  • Patent number: 10094476
Abstract: A valve disk with a disk-like valve body, which has a front with two protruding hubs and a back opposite the front. In order to permit improved flow around the valve disk and reduction of eddies on the outflow side, arc-like recesses running along an inside surface of both hubs are arranged on the front of valve body to deflect the flow around hubs.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 6, 2016
Date of Patent: October 9, 2018
    Assignee: VAG—ARMATUREN
Inventors: Peter Thiessen, Torsten Fabian Rupp, Heribert Erich Herold, Carl Schulz
  • Patent number: 10094477
Abstract: A butterfly valve with a valve disk mounted to swivel about an axis of rotation inside a housing and torsionally rigidly connected to a drive shaft pivotably mounted inside the housing. To ensure a connection which, from the standpoint of production engineering, is simple, yet secure, the valve disk is torsionally rigidly connected to the drive shaft by means of a minimum of two tapered pins engaging opposite sides of the drive shaft.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 15, 2016
Date of Patent: October 9, 2018
    Assignee: VAG - ARMATUREN GMBH
Inventors: Peter Thiessen, Torsten Rupp, Heribert Herold, Jürgen Heyne
  • Patent number: 9783992
Abstract: A spacer for use in spacing a cladding component from a building component has a support member, a base spaced apart from the support member, the base having a contact surface facing away from the support member, a web connected between the support member and the base, and a guide configured to locate the cladding component on the support member. A plurality of the spacers can be used by resiliently deforming them to accommodate and retain by restorative bias force a corresponding plurality of portions of the cladding component. Thereafter, the spacers are secured to the building component.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 1, 2016
Date of Patent: October 10, 2017
    Assignee: Cascadia Fiberglass Inc.
Inventors: Roberto Bombino, Kevin Joseph Michael Ganzert, Warren Samuel Knowles, Edward Peter Thiessen, Michael James Wilson

  • Patent number: 6899201
Abstract: A hoop for a safety cage assembly of a ladder includes a rigid arcuate band having a first face, a second face, a first end and a second end. Each of the first end and the second end are secured to a ladder. A plurality of keyhole openings extend through the band between the first face and the second face. A plurality of detachable tubing clamps are provided. Each of the tubing clamps has tubing receiving jaws defining a tubing receiving opening with an axis. The tubing receiving jaws have an exterior mounted projecting attachment key. In a first orientation, the attachment key passes freely in and out through a selected one of the keyhole openings in the band. In a second orientation, the attachment key is locked within the selected keyhole opening and the tubing receiving jaws are oriented with the axis of the tubing receiving opening positioned transversely in relation to the band.
