Apparatus giving acceptable breathing gas temperature incorporates an evaporative cooler unit (20), and a pump utilizing the diaphragn plate (15) of the breathing bag (3), the pump inducing an air flow over the evaporative cooler unit.

  • Flexible ducting joints

    Abstract: A joint is made between the ends of two similar lengths of flexible ducting. One end has a single ring and the other a pair of parallel rings. The single ring fits between the pair of rings. Either the single ring or the extreme ring of the pair of rings is of a larger diameter than the diameter of the ducting. The end of the ducting length with the larger ring is fitted inside the other ducting length.

  • Flexible ducting joint

    Abstract: A joint is made between two lengths of flexible ducting by captivating a flexible resilient ring attached to one end of a length of the ducting between a pair of spaced parallel rings attached to the end of the other length of the ducting. The joint can be made by deforming the flexible ring and passing it into the end of the second length of ducting and then releasing it, when it is in position, so that due to its resilience it assumes its natural shape and is positioned between the pair of rings.
